  • you did an amazing job on this video

  • There are many songs written, based on this story then obviously. Little Knoxville Girl, Pretty Polly are 2 I can think of at the moment. Good job. Interesting.

  • EXELENTE JOB

  • hey this is great!! thanks for posting!

  • dude, you are really good to an uninitiated ear, personaly i think you kick ass, but, thats just me

  • okay: you haven't gotten the music flowing with the lyrics. make it flow. im from the appalachain mountains and my dad plays old time music which i've been raised in. i know that song by heart and thats not how its supposed to go... but a good effort. the banjo has a good ring to it.

  • You've got to be kidding me. One of the great things about old time music is the amount of variation in a particular song. So you may know your dad's version, but unless his was on the Billboard top 40, then I'm gonna say your daddy's version is not the de facto one.

    Fabricari, keep at it.

  • Exactly. These folk songs are *supposed* to be changed, adapted, altered according to the mood and feelings of the singer and time and place. They change; that's what makes them enduring. Omie Wise is one of the great ones - no matter who's doing it.

  • very good and steady frailing, nice to watch your videos ,keep posting them
