I have a great Talent-Tree Build for Merc Which i got from a MMO-champ. I am a level 50 Bh Merc and the damage i do is seriously killing! ofc working on a good solid rotation of: x3Tracer (Followed by) // Fusion Missile // Unload // Heatseeker Missiles // Rail Shot // Tracer Missile // Filler: Missile Blast // Rapid Shots.. Choice is yours which you want to use for a filler. Just becareful you don' t overheat!

@BvlgarigovIT I almost never use the mouse to click a spesific attack, if it's not to get out of a movement imparing effect or to heal myself. This is my setup. The uper part of the quickshots are set up default, but the lower quickshots I have set to respond when I'm pushin "R", "F" and "s+1", "s+2", "s+3", "s+4", "s+R", "s+F". If you take a look at your keyboard and try to follow me on this one, you can see that it isn't lots attacks I can't easily cover.

@ivnlrulz Merc will do more damage, but PT will be able to take more abuse (via the shield in the secondary slot instead of a second blaster). I was playing Huttball at level 13 the other day, and was #1 dmg at 160k over the entire match (I am Merc). But the PT next to me had 100k dmg, and half the deaths. If I hadn't spent most my time running back to the fight, I'm sure I would have had lots more damage.

Thanks for posting faction. Until I saw your vids, I thought id be using tracer strictly as debuff. Glad it is a good ability, but ill probably go powertech now that I see high level merc playstyle is more like a mage. Thanks for posting!!

Yea..I got to level 35 in the weekend beta..and I promise you spamming TM wasn't the best way to deal dmg in any situation.

Unload and Rail Shot procs and talent increases to both of those abilities on top of Tracer Missile stacks destroyed just about anything in my path..a lot quicker than just spamming TM.

So there goes your theory about weekend testers not knowing what they're talking about. Just because you got the beta before most of us and got to 50 doesn't mean you know everything.

-Unload is not worth using when being attacked. It only ticks twice.

-You have to keep using tracer missile at 5 stacks because... it's your highest damage no cooldown attack. You don't have anything else to use.

-You shouldn't post comments about how someones doing something wrong when your experience is limited to reading torhead and theorycrafting.

Well I see you talking smack about the weekend beta testers...I was there and I can promise you that just spamming tracer missile over and over because you think it's the most powerful is stupid.

Tracer adds an armor pen debuff. And at level 50 you should have Riddle which increases Unloads DMG by 33% and Barrage which has a 30% chance to finish the CD of Unload. Which makes Unload one of your most powerful DMG dealers at 50. With 5 stacks of heat signature it would destroy...

Seeing as he got to level 50 (and weekenders did not) it does give him more credit. That being said there's been discussion on sithwarriors,com discussing a possible mercenary rotation. The general consensus there is exactly what Faction60 is doing. In flashpoints, where tanking takes place, Unload would be used at the start and when Barrage bonus procs

@DetritusRelated but since Unload is a channeled ability and does not get all the "ticks" it isn't ideal to use it mid fights where you take damage when you also have to manage heat. Tracer also stacks "Tracer Lock" in addition to the armor pen debuff which makes Rail Shot hit harder.

@DetritusRelated basically building up Tracer Locks for Rail Shot. Prioritize Heatseeker when it's off of cooldown and Rail Shot at 5x Tracer Locks. Use Unload when you are not in need of Tracer Locks, and Tracer Missiles when you need to sustain the Tracer debuff and/or build up stacks of Tracer Locks...or when you need filler in your rotation. Tracer Missile is our spammable ability.
