Brilliant. the bit on 34 seconds made me think of my first daughters birthday party whan she was five and had all her friends around her for the first time. When they sang Happy birthday (in Portuguese) her face was one of perfect happiness. The black thing on his 3rd fret is a hair tie(Scrunchee).

When you tap a lot you get excess noise from the string. All that thing is doing is muting the excess noise.
