To not loose connection, you can do this on a single command line:
modprobe bonding AND service network restart
This will execute the second command after the first, if the first one exits succesfully :)

what mac-address will the bridge br0 take??

@yeezhihao Hi, thaznks for watching, the bridge will take the mac address of the bond which takes the mac from eth1 or the first interface you assign to the bond.
If what you create is just a bridge it'll take the mac from eth0.
