just came across this. really cool vid. I've always wanted to see japan presented so up close and objective. Plus you had some of ym favorite tracks in the vid. Bravo on the vid.
Wow! I like the contrast between big city, rural, suburban, etc. You do a good job at capturing all aspects of Japanese life in a short, six minute video. The layering of the different music is creative too.
I always think assuming the role of amature film maker while on vacation detracts from the experience. But viewing the finished product and then getting to share it with the world is well worth it in the end.

I know exactly what you mean. This summer was my first time in Japan, and unfortunately, half of that time was spent behind the lens of a camera.
However, I do agree that it is well worth it. (I just need to visit again and leave my camera home).
