I may have to try this! I live in Arizona and I do spend time outside rollerblading and hanging with friends but I never tan! Something about my skin just makes it impossible for me to tan (and on that note, never burn which is a plus). I should try this :D

The horrible tans happens to me all the time too,but the bad thing is when i once wore a t-shirt out for one hour, my arms got tan but then when i wore a tank top it my skin looked uneven and horrible... but i prefer light skin.

Hi! I'm preparing to use it for the first time. You said you only left yours on for 15 minutes, but the bottle suggests to leave it for at least an hour. I've seen other Youtube gurus saying we should leave it on for a few hours? So I'm a little confused on how long I should keep it on. Actually I'm kind of scared to leave it on for even an hour, but I don't want it to be useless if I use it for any less time than the bottle suggests. Help!! Thank you so much for the vid :)

@emilyemily7921 I never follow the bottle, but my skin is just a bit tinted and I wanted my feet to match up to my tan, so I only left it on for 15..if you want it to be darker..I think one hour would give you a much richer color! Mostly, watch yourself in the mirror every 10-15 minutes to be sure!

yeyyyyyyy i really do love your tutorials and everytime i have a problem, you post a video on it because everytime i try fake tan, some parts love lovely but some other parts didn't do it properly... but the thing is i'm really pale so it's really noticable if a fake tan doesn't work. You still have to be careful and wear a sunscreen though because DHA can be found to increase your chances of getting skin cancer if exposed to sun more than if exposed to sun w/o a self tanner.

@gumybearss Well, funny thing..sun block might not being doing as good of a job as we think if you still tan while wearing sunblock. Isn't that crazy? Everything and anything is link to cancer now..I think practice in moderation is good. Either or, I try to stay out of the sun the most and ESP during the hours of 2-4 No sun block will protect me from those rays!

@LittleAsianDoll LOL u don't get tanned my love. u get BAKKKKEDDDD. LOL htat happens to me too. The key thing is...if you get a really overcook look make sure you don't tan during the peak hours when the sun is the most strongest....(2p.m-4p.m..somet­imes 2-5). Gradually work up your tan, and don't try to get tann all in one session if you lay in the sun. I use to be out on the lake alot when I was in my teens..so being burnt, baked, cooked, tann, peeled I have suffered it all!

Do you think I should put it on and then wash it all off in 15 minutes to prevent myself from going black? (like the way you suggested?)

@raininghard try a little patch test on your feet and see what it look like in 5 minutes and then determine how long it should be on you.

i usually enjoy watching ur videos, but this video basically PROMOTES tanning. u should not be trying to cover up ur tan but even more self tanning, but lightening the tan instead. a tan does NOT equal healthy skin.

I never say a tan equals healthy skin, if you want to go natural and not tan at all that's okay too, but IF you wanted to have a tan...it's better to do this than to use a tanning bed or to bake yourself outside. @iammichellevu don't go into the sun, use sunblock, if u want to use a hydroquinone cream at your own risk..then go for it...other than that..u have to wait it out until a lighter set of skin comes in ^_^
