well i bought a vampire counts battalion and i got konrad von carstein and i know the people at my local games workshop and he said i could still use my lord even though i don't have 2k so ya
It was probaly because you were starting out for sample games. In an actual tournament or more competitive game you need to adhere to fantasy version of the "force orginization chart". Which is fairly lenient (min not max for cores) but has strict hero and lord rules.
Great vids. Im thinking about getting into fantasy (I painted some a few years ago but never played) and your videos are very insightful for a complete newbie. Keep it up!
You've done a good job at explaining the basics of fantasy, fair play.
Although, it is impossible to cover all of the rules in a manner and ordering that people will be able to clearly follow and understand without a rule book of their own, but you have made a good job of it!
pause at 3:05 sorry my comp lagged and thought it was funny
great vid im really thinking of getting into fantasy but theres so many armys to choose from and i like elves alot i like undead alot and vampires i really wouldnt no what to choose :S
i just wanna say some corrections here not to be negative or anything but 1: not all armys can march units with the rules "undead" cannot march wich is the tomb king and vampire counts armys 2: if you attach a commander he is placed inside the unit in the front rank not at the side 3: most armys other than high elf actully needs +2 core when under 2000 and 3+ core when 3000 and so on.
two months ago in the white dwarf the put out the rules for fantasy apoalisp (spelling i know i know) games or huge battles. it was like 10 pages or something i'll have to bring it to work and scan it for u guys
My friend only has the skullpass box and thats it so when he played we rolled for fire lore and he got a two and chopped one of my vampires in half with the spell
this video is what got me back into Fantasy, but i have a question...wouldnt that wizard need to be in the actual rank of the unit to be attached?

Heroes :)
Lords are for 2k or more, heroes can still be used in 2k or more though
