  • For people having trouble with Dragon Punch/Zig Zag - Do a Forward, then Quarter Circle without releasing the stick.

  • POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE DESTRUCTOR

    RETURN TO DUST

  • am i the only one that finds the zig zag command hard to do, i keep doign quarter circle by accident

  • @AWOOGO Many people find it kind of hard. Just keep practising it

  • @AWOOGO dude i have trouble doing the zig-zag motion too, i always thought i wouldbe called a total noob if i told anyone about it.

  • @AWOOGO just keep practicing it took me 2 months to get it down.

  • @AWOOGO sometimes it happens to me to!!

  • @AWOOGO zig zag is pretty much forward, down, forward, or back, down, back

  • Ok Im trying to use Dormammu now and the 8-way air dash isnt working. He must been nerfed big time. His aeriel crossover isnt working either

  • how the fuck are the recent comments about BB?

  • @ipodsucksballs People started talking about hard characters to play and used Tager as an example

  • POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THEPOWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE BLAAAUUUUUGGG

  • @TheEspadaking I'm kind of wondering that myself, but whatever.

  • besides she hulk, this game seems to be incredibly ballanced

  • @CyberPunkViking Sentinal, Dark Phoenix, Wesker, Dormammu and Dante are all pretty cheap characters especially with X-Factor, so much chip damage.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Sentinel is practically begging you to hit him with that hitbox, which hurts him even more now that his health has been nerfed to below average. Dark Phoenix dies even faster than regular Phoenix. Wesker is tough to fight, but not impossible. Dormammu's keepaway is easily beaten if you mix up your movement, and his rushdown is fairly predictable. As for Dante, his damage is pretty mediocre.

  • @MedicHaus Well online Wesker is a pain, with lag and input delay he is near impossible to block, Dark Phoenix is pretty annoying with her zoning and x-factor Dark Phoenix can 100% with chip damage alone. Dormamuu's black hole and pilar are a big pain for keeping you at bay and his hyper's are pretty solid. Sentinel yes he may be easy to hit but sometimes neutralise and Sentinel force make it hard for some characters to get close and x-factor Sentinel...

My team is Hulk, Hsien-ko, Cap America

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Hmm, the above characters would be difficult to deal with. You probably already do this, but Hsien-Ko's reflector gong assist combined with her Level 3 make for one of the best anti-zoning assists in the game. Captain's Charging Star assist can nullify some projectiles as well. As a Dormammu player, I advise that you avoid getting thrown once you get in close. A ground throw earns either 2 power-ups, or an attempt at a j.H crossup into a combo. An air throw is a free combo.

  • @MedicHaus I use the team I have because I hate using the top tiers or cheap characters as theirs not much of a challenge, I do this in all fighting games. I use her armoured assists and reflector to try push closer to the enemy whilst cap will charge through it or I jump over beams and shield slash and combo into charging star or hyper when I land, Hulk pretty much just super jumps most of it and I use S to get the ground bounce of land infron of them to use his super armour standing M and H.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku I wouldn't recommend super jumping against Dormammu. He can teleport up to the opponent during their jump and air throw them, which leads to a combo. The only time I would super jump against Dormammu is if he is in the middle of Chaotic Flame, which you could then punish. Dormammu's finger shot and flame carpet have long startup times, which Hulk can punish with a Gamma Wave/Tsunami. Gamma Crush also has invincibility frames on it's startup, which can punish Chaotic Flame.

  • @MedicHaus I say personality wise only because the low tier characters happen to also characters I like story wise aswell, Dan Hibiki being one of them because he is funny, tries hard to promote his fathers dojo and is a little coky despite not being able to back it up :)

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Regarding tiers/cheap characters, I don't pay any attention to tier lists when deciding who I want to play as. I just play as whoever I want to. I pay more attention to specific character matchups instead.

  • @MedicHaus I understand that, this is just for me only, I know fine well Tiers don't mean everything after all I main Dan in SSF4 but just because I play him doesn't mean it's a gaurentee'd loss for me, likewise Akuma players aren't gaurentee'd to win in the end it's down to the player, I just prefer the challenge of picking low tier and I genuinly like the low tier characters personality wise most of the time. An added bonus I guess is people can't every whine "OMGZ Dan is so cheap and broken!"

  • @TheBoredomOtaku I've played games where the god tier characters are more challenging to play as than the low tier ones, like Guilty Gear. The basic, simple to use characters like Sol or Ky are low tier, while the advanced and very challenging characters to use, such as Eddie and Slayer, are god tier. If I'm playing as Sol, I find almost no challenge in the gameplay. But when I switch to Eddie, the game becomes intensely difficult. Also, tiers have nothing to do with character personality.

  • @MedicHaus Now what do you mean by simple to use? Do you mean they are harder to play as if their combo's are harder? I don't think like that, I think whichever one has the toughest time actually trying to hit their oponent is what makes them difficult, in Blazblue Iron Tager has probably the least combo's in the game yet he is absolutly awful with only 1 good matchup in the game that's slightly in his favour, Ragna has a lot of combo's and is middle tier since he has more options.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku When I say simpler to use, I mean simpler to use in every way. Eddie's pressure strings are harder than his combos, and starting a combo is also very tricky. Meter must be managed 24/7 because of Invite Hell and Shadow Gallery FRCs, deploying the Mini-Eddie safely and keeping him alive are very difficult, and his unblockable setups require split second timing...while Sol just needs to know how to FRC Gunflame and land Clean Hit Sidewinders.

  • @MedicHaus Sure in some cases keeping pressure up is harder to use but it's rewards are greater, I mean a lot of low tier characters don't have the ability to create long pressure or block strings and some may just have no way's of approaching certain oponents, if you take Iron Tager in Blazblue he is slow with a large hitbox with no dash, double jump or air dash, no proper anti air with slow normals, he is a walking punching bag that loses out to a lot of the other characters.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Eddie's more situational combos tend to take off 55-60% health. Sol's Sidewinder loop can take off 50-60% health, depending on who you're fighting. Of course, Tager isn't as bad as you make him out to be. He can punish any blockstring with a small gap in it with his 360 throws (as a cocky Rachel/Noel user, I learned this the hard way), with a short followup combo ending with a magnetism. Tager can get good pressure going as well, he just needs to wait for it.

  • @MedicHaus You have to admit though Tager is still a bad character in BB, he lost a lot of options once instand blocking got nerfed aswell, he can't punish all blockstrings with a grab as most oponents will use blockstrings that jump aswell like Jin or they will add pressure with Drive moves like Lambda making it near impossible to escape due to hsi large hitbox. I mean pretty much all the cast have advatntages over him except Noel, in recent matchup data his worst matchup was Mu at 9-1

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Sledge has projectile auto-guard, and gives Tager that much needed boost against Lambda and Mu. The super armor on 6A also helps, and the auto-guard on Voltic Charge allows Tager to safely build up a Spark Bolt, and there's no denying that Spark Bolt is one of the best projectiles in the game. Spark Bolt scares people, and forces them to play passively to avoid taking a ton of damage. Combined with his tech traps and Gadget Finger mixups, Tager can win even in his bad matchups.

  • @MedicHaus I'll tell you a few things, 1 sledge has slow startup and recovery and will not cover fullscreen, basically if Tager ndoesn't hit his oponent when he sledged projectiles they are free to hit him, backdash, throw or use more projectiles, 6A does not have armour on startup and only during active frames and he still takes damage and it can be stuffed if hit low, spark bolt can be stopped from coming out by other moves but it still takes away Tager's charge meter.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Sledge should be used to advance through incoming projectiles, and if B Sledge in particular is blocked, Tager has a +3 frame advantage. This allows Tager to go for his mixups. The quick startup on Spark Bolt makes it very difficult to react to. 6A causes Tager to take half damage for the duration of the super armor, and the armor doesn't break until Tager takes 750 damage. So if the opponent started mashing jab on reaction, it would take 8 jabs to break the armor.

  • @MedicHaus It depends on who Tager is fighting, 6A can't be used on the ground to pull the oponent in as they can strike low and it can't be used as an anti-air as it can be double jumped or airdashed away from. Sledge should be used for going through projectiles but most oponents that use them wait for the sledge to pass through then hit Tager when he is vulnerable, even upclose his pokes and pressure have little priority and can be beaten by other characters Jabs or even their c attacks.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku Hammer can also move through projectiles, and can be used as a counter against players who try to attack Tager after he Sledges through their projectiles. 6A should only be used as an anti-air against magnetized opponents, I usually anti-air with 2A or 2C. As for Tager's pressure, I'll use Tager vs Ragna as an example. Ragna blocks a 236B; Tager is now +3 on block. If I'm the Tager, I would do a 5A 5B 6B 4D blockstring.

  • @MedicHaus Magnetised or not 6A is not a proper anti-air move it just leaves Tager completely unsafe once they jump over him, 4D is not a good blockstring, in your example it leaves him open to an inferno divider or even devoured by darkness. Hammer has shrot range and is a last resort to reach them or try and overhead but the outcome is still the same fullscreen, if you watch Tager Vs Lambda matches you see how badly it is not in his favour.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku To avoid the blockstring, Ragna would have to beat out Tager's 5A. But this is impossible, since Tager's 5A would connect while Ragna is still in the blockstun from 236B. Not even a reversal could help Ragna in that situation. This allows Tager to perform the full blockstring.

  • @MedicHaus Okay I see, however all tht really does is push Ragna back, once magnetised Tager has to guess right on how to pull him in but all his moves that draw his oponent in are very unsafe unless he knows for certain they will jump.

  • @TheBoredomOtaku It turns into a 50/50 guessing game. A tick 360A is possible if Ragna does not jump. While the 4D puts both Tager and Ragna at equal frame advantage, the invincibility on 360A prevents Ragna from countering. After the 360A, a combo into Gadget Finger will leave Tager at +3 again and leave Ragna in range for another mixup. If Ragna jumps instead, Tager can grab him with 623C and combo into Gadget Finger. This can go on forever as long as Tager keeps guessing correctly.

  • @MedicHaus @TheBoredomOtaku But what if Tager pulls off your socks while your sleeping then starts to rubs waking you up in surprise, =o?

  • 1:51 no matter all the rude comments i get thats what she said

  • you can also do a purification tower into a chaotic flame after the lvl3 dark dimension

  • The timing for LEVEL 3 OTG are really easy, just need to wait for 1 second after knocking the enemy down and you got it

  • what he says at 4:02 is incorrect, watch MVC 3 Maximilian's online warrior ep2 pt 2 at 5:18 onward

  • @mocapman your either dumb, or trolling... go look at your friends video... daunte hits him, thus the ball dissapears, NOT because some sort of timer.

  • @77wendigo I am neither trolling nor am i dumn. It seems like you either don't understand what I have typed out, or you are the idiot. I am not friends with maximilian. What I was saying is that in the SRK video he says it will not go away until it hits or is blocked 20 times. In Maximilians video at 5:18 he proves, that statement is wrong.

  • @mocapman no you idiot. Watch the rest of the video. At 4:16 this video states that the ball disappears if Dormammu is hit.

  • @iJizzLots Alright I concede I was wrong, but I don't like being accused of trolling.

  • Forgot to mention that you can hit Purification after Dark Dimension and then combo into Chaotic Flame. Lot of meter gets burned but the damage is very high.

  • Dormammu's Flame Ball reminds me of Dhalsim's Yoga Catastrophe.

  • so what exactly makes dormammu hard to use?

  • To be fair, the timing of a Level 3 OTG isn't nearly as hard as the video claims. Hell, you can 100% every character in the game if you follow up with a Purification to Chaotic Flame, XFC, then another Chaotic Flame.

  • @youtuguru True. But how often are you going to have five levels? And X-Factor.

  • @Skatemafia4lyfe2K6: Hyper is rather easy to gain if you know what you're doing. As for X-Factor, it varies from person too person. Still, knowing about a combo that 100%s most of the cast without X-Factor or full hyper is useful.

  • @Skatemafia4lyfe2K6 ahem... last character standing: phoenix, level 5, unused x-factor? does it ring a bell?

  • @rmnhn True. But what if somebody plays smart, and snaps your Phoenix in prematurely? And I'm pointing out that you're not going to have five levels all that often, and be able to hand out Hypers on the regular.

  • he's like an SNK boss, only health-balanced. I love it

  • the fire rug is def. something all dormammu users should use. it makes it so much easier when players try to rush you

  • LIKE THAT

  • 4:30 FLAMING TEABAG!!!

  • floating bomb > x factor > floating bomb > chaotic flame

uses 3 hyper bars, but does more chip damage than a lot of level 3 hypers that fully connect, deadly against non-full health foes who come in after a KO who cannot reach the ground upon entry to x factor and avoid the chip damage.

  • @nathan9384 what about: floating bomb > x factor > floating bomb > Purification Tower>Chaotic flame? Prob. does some ludicrous chip damage.

  • @Midnightdawn12 I'm sure that would be epic cheapness too, you could probably throw in that move where it rains meteors after the xfactor and cancel into the second bomb too.

  • @nathan9384 I tried thefloating bomb > x factor > floating bomb > Purification Tower>Chaotic flame combo, Nearly killed a character on chip damage alone. I'd feel like a dick for doing that to someone online.

  • Damn, I bet if you really learn him, he could be very dangerous!

  • Love using Dormamu, such an amazing character. The best part is people go after the other more "popular" characters leaving delectables like this alone.

  • @shenmueryu Agreed. Most people flock to Wolverine, Dante, Zero, etc. But they're never prepared for my Doom or my Dormammu. :D Underdogs FTW.

  • Dormammu has wonderful posture. He's always standing in a perfect upright position.

  • @TheWhoNew

Because you can't conquer/destroy dimensions with back pain!

  • @Cardboredbawx I'm in the same boat as you. Especially during online play, when I have his stocks up and I manage to charge them up, but when i want to use them I end up teleporting into my opponent XD

  • @Cardboredbawx you're just putting the input backwards. Just remember, Liberation=dragon punch in facing direction

  • Power of the power of the power of the Creator!

  • he forgot that the pool of flame is OTG

  • @Cardboredbawx ME TOO!!!!!! Im using the 360 controller and that always happen. Im getting an arcade stick soon so maybe that wont be an issue

  • the new spam character

  • Phoenix is a good char but she is like akuma from street fighter 4 when she gets hit that's not good waste of a good char.. They should have brought captain commando I swear he and crimson viper are co workers like or bro and sis idk they are soo similar it's hilarious

  • @StackzOnD3ckk Wrong guy, go dark phoenix means that she has 860,000 hp (460,000/460,000) which is more than 9 characters. On top of the fact that she goes Dark Phoenix is that you can tag her out, get a lvl 1 or 2 meter, bring her back in to XF and do Healing Field. Example: XF: spd, healing, strength, no chip + Dark Phoenix: spd, strength + healing field makes her INSANE + fastest teleport (Dark Phoenix TK Trap assist does wall bounce and is her strongest assist) combo her lvl hyper too WoW

  • @StackzOnD3ckk the thing about pheonix is shes a battery character u keep her on reserve til u hit max super meter then u intentionally kill her so she turns into dark pheonix

  • This guy is like blackheart from marvel vs capcom 2 has not combos really just sit in a corner and spam all day

  • Dhalsim secretly worships Dorrumammu , it's where he learnt his ultra 1 and teleport trick

  • Comment removed

  • BEWARE

  • Having played him a bit he's not so great on the ground if you wanna get in close. His ground dash won't cancel into a move but his air dash will. Best to use him like Sentinel cos that teleport won't fool people for long.

  • @Badabob you dont't need to get close with dormammu. You can simply use your ranged attack

  • how do you cancel

  • Is there a combo to go into the lvl 3 creator spell? It could be a serious lockdown

  • how do you do the move where he sets the ground on fire

  • RUN! RUN!

  • Any chance of XFC into that level 3?

  • @Urmean15 yeah you can kfc into it, but it wont combo from the chasing ball and its can be hard off of chaotic flame

  • man, dormammu looks like an absolute beast! i hope a team of zero, amaterasu, and dormammu works well together.

  • @BatOtaku13 it does. I've tried it. I definitely recommend using Ammy's Cold Star assist to help power up Dorm's hands.

  • @drumminglink i found a better team is ryu, ammy, and dorm. dark hole assist=instant DHC.

  • @BatOtaku13 Nah my favorite team is Wesker, Haggar, and Dormmamu. Dormmamu mostly for those dirty little chip damage projectile whores. :3

  • Like a really creative take on BH and Cable. Definitely will be able to deal with Sent/Arthur spam. I like the his ability to be like a chemist and combine the creation and destruction powers to create new powers. Should be fun to see him in tournaments.

  • Serious lockdown options. I hope he's not broken.

    Roll on friday.

  • @Badabob It's Marvel vs Capcom, of course there are broken characters

  • xfactor makes all characters potentially broken. so no one is broken if everyone is broken.

  • @scruffykayway resurected phoenix is broken already, x-factor her, and you used your x-factor already makes me want to cry

  • i played against you?

  • @scruffykayway Dante is the most Broken one in the game

  • no, you're mistaking versatility with broken

  • @scruffykayway I don't like him... So he is broken... and overrated >_>

  • @johnUS7 Wait... you don't like him and that's your reason for him being broken? Not the best explanation good sir. I'm okay that you don't like Dante, I personally do, but you don't have a good reason for him being broken. Dormammu, Trish and Dark Phoenix are more broken then him (though Dark Phoenix does have a good reason to be broken).

  • @Azreal667 Depends how You use Dormammu

  • @johnUS7 You're an idiot.

  • @scruffykayway not really most of them need it to balance out the game (IE Dante's Devil trigger) but Dormamu broken as mess. you can do the snap back and charge up the power of destructor or creator quickly when the next combatant comes in final charge up to unleash the power

  • @scruffykayway so does that mean its not woth buyin? cuz i never played it at all :O

  • @scruffykayway Yo dawg, i herd you like broken characters so we put a broken character in your broken character so you can use your broken character while you're broking a character with x-factor :D

  • nice!
