Saw this last night - one of the most outrageous and enjoyable anime I've seen in a long time. I'm kind of glad I didn't see this in a theater, because one viewing of this film's action sequences just isn't enough. In fact, they were so chaotic, I didn't even know what the hell was going on the first time through.
Redline will get your adrenaline pumping; and the ending, dear god, the ending. I won't spoil it, but lets just say its a serious AWWW YEEEAAAAAHHH kind of moment.
@OperationIntrudeN313 I did see this in theaters first (Fantasia Festival), and it was utterly overwhelming. Half way through I couldn't believe it was keeping this pace - it was literally exhausting. I was keeping up, but it took it all out of me. It's definitely an experience to catch, the sound effects and music on the big screen really make it an epic watch, but you'll definitely be out of breath!
I absolutely love the quality of work, cinematography and direction of this piece. It is phenomenal! I am glad I found it this years and can easily see it and not last year where I would have gone completely bonkers waiting for it to come out. Now, I just have to find it. ha ha >-<
