The Alexander Brothers imported this song from Canada many years ago and recorded it on a tape with other songs but it never really caught on in Scotland. Modern folk seem to like beat and loud noise rather than a lovely melody that this tune is, as is the words telling of two old men fishing on the banks of the Mira river in Canada reminising old times.
Oh, how lovely! My sister-in-law loved this song and asked me to download from the internet and send for her. I liked the music so much that I downloaded other eight, and of course sent to her as well. Thanks a lot!
