Saw this at 8:00 pm on Loredas in Whiterun. It was nice. took an awesome picture with the eagle at the skyforge with the aurora.

First time I saw this in game I actually took my hands off of my mouse and keyboard and said "Wow. Wow that's pretty." to nobody in particular but myself. I see the Aurora a few times a year, but the rendition they did in Skyrim just looks unbelievably beautiful.

Seen this and I was like, wow. Also wowed at the salmon jumping up river rapids. Little things like that are great! Really deepen immersion

@lshaw17 Indeed!! The attention to details in this game are amazing. So many things like the aurora or the salmons (as you said). Great game. Just did a sidequest that made me laugh HARD. It involves getting drunk and marriage :P

Is there a best place to see it in the game?

@Ofkostoglotov In my opinion, the best places to see one of those is on the High Hrothgard temple or in it's montains. Snowy high montais are the best scenarios.

Oh man.... i REALLY like the orange/yellow ones when they appear in the game.... the first time i saw this color i was on a very flat and snowy area with the moons and slightly cloudy... and there it was.... It's a real shame i'm on the xbox and can't take pictures... cuz it was awesome

That happened to me when i was almost at the top of a mountain, finishing some bandit quest, i just sit back and wow`d for like 5 min too :) skyrim has outstanding graphics indeed!

@TheReaperWarrior indeed. It does have some beautiful views. Seriously. I "wowed" for 5 minutes just looking at it, hearing the "sounds of nature" (wind, leaves, etc) and enjoying the soundtrack (a little Avatar like hehehe).

I hope i see more of those! :)
