Quo were great live and still are today, however I was 17 when this was shown on TOTP in 1973 and they were miming. Their Guitars were not plugged in this video, it was 20 years + before wireless technology was avaiable, also at the time the BBC wanted stars to sound the same as the studio recording.

I met the original Status Quo in Corn Exchange, Devizes in 1971. Lovely lads. Quo and I had a chat for about over an hour in their dressing room. They were so full of fun and they had a great sense of humour. They still have now. (John the drmmer was the quiet one).
