wow... this is cool. I am sure you have to mount many IR diodes emitter along the touch panel for the camera to detect. Just wondering if you using ready made touch screen or DIY?

I haven't used any IR diodes at all. And the webcam was 10 euros.
All the hardware and software was done by myself.

haha. Wad kind of webcam you use? Aren't those IR cam very expensive?
Almost every webcam has the capability to register IR light. Up to you to remove the IR filter for it to see the IR.
I assume you need to mount IR diodes emitters along the touch panel to reflect the light downwards to camera to detect?
seems a little delayed to your touch, although it is a nice effect.

Crappy modded sweex webcam running 5 fps max in lowlight setting (IR-light). A better webcam would make multi-touch recognition better.
