  • I worked with Susan in "Ben Franklin in Paris" circa 1963-4. She was a lovely artist then and to see her in more mature years is a thrill. She is an artist and knows how to entertain. She had talent and is gifted too. That is a double pleasure. She is delightful in "Follies" (2010) on Broadway. Continued happiness, good health and success, Susan, you deserve it. Don Pippin

  • @Pipmus -- What a lovely note, Don. I'm sure Susie was as pleased to ready your kind words as I am. So glad you found this. And I've just shared it on FB to celebrate Susie's Birthday, which was yesterday. How wonderful it is that she Celebrated her New Year back on Broadway in another hit show.

  • Gorgeous, beautiful - another treasure from BroadwayGoldnAge. To hear a great song sung by a Broadway legend is such thrill.

  • @showtunestarpower -- I'm so pleased you like this one. Susan is, indeed, a Broadway Legend, as well as a very dear and kind lady. To share the stage with her is always a thrill, to have her sing my words is truly a blessing. So as you can well imagine, this performance is very meaningful to me.

  • For many moons I heard the golden voice of Susan Watson on cast recordings....never dreaming I'd be treated to a video like this. What a beautiful song, btw. Lovely.

  • @txquis -- I'm so pleased to know you enjoyed both Sudan and the song. She really was brilliant in this show, and the song holds a special place in my heart.
