Why is everyone so pissed at this movie. Aside from some race issues in the characters i think it did well for a T.V movie made in 96'. do you have any idea what kind of budget they had back then? also even though Mondo was Hawaiian i think Bumper did really good as that character mostly cause thiink Mondo is awesome anyways.

I was pissed because as a fan of the comic, I was really anticipating this movie. At the time, XMEN:TAS was doing extremely well & I just knew FOX was going to do GEN X some justice. Instead, they made it look good in the ads, but on premiere night, it turned out to be a HUGE disappointment. I mean, the Power Rangers had better special effects in their first season than this flick. Storywise & visually the whole thing came across looking really cheap & half-assed.

This movie was beyond CRAP. I was sooo disappointed because I was a HUGE fan of the comic at the time. No Chamber or Husk, Jubliee was WHITE, & the entire look of the movie was super low-budget. I mean, it made the Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers look like the Godfather. Fox NEVER should've attempted this if they knew they couldn't do it the RIGHT WAY. Leave it up to egotistical, network executive jerks (while riding high on the success of X-MEN: TAS) to think that fans wouldn't care.

Buff and Refrax were created for the movie to replace Penance. Husk was just skipped for some odd reason.

it's called generation x, it was a tv movie in 1996. it takes place after the x-men... generation x was the group that kinda took over the x mansion afterwards.
