Her voice was beautiful period. I swear to my faith Aaliyah could have been singing about doodo and I'd be the first in line to buy the record. There's something about the quality of her voice that's mesmerizing. Ten years later people are loving it despite haters wishing otherwise. Why comment on an Aaliyah video and you're just going to hate. The recession is so bad that hating is now a full time job lmao.
@Queenjwls68 Beyonce would probably be around since she was big with Destiny's child but Ciara, maybe not. Missy Elliot & Timbaland took Ciara up after Aaliyah had passed away. Before that, they were more involved with Aaliyah.

@Dboy4100X3 bitch, figure it out yourself..this falsetto note is nothing resembling to operatic note. something like whitney houston's head voice or patti labelle's head voice would be the closest to operatic notes. NEXT
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
@Dboy4100X3 no, this is a falsetto note, which has a different sound to resonant and rich head voice. falsettos are airy and light as fuck and there is hardly any resemblance to operatic notes. NEXT>>>
@SuperOnyeka1 when did i say i don't like her? how shallow of u guys! just because i am telling the truth about this note (not her) doesn't make me a hater. dumb
@kelvinpyaeko I think personally this is one of the best notes in falsetto Aaliyah has ever done other than in the context in the song what don't you like about the note?
@bajeboi smh..of course, this is a lovely sweet falsetto note, but that's not the point. someone here said this sounds like an operatic note and i set this straight for that rabid stan and he gets mad. that's it. nothing negative. read the comments, first please
@kelvinpyaeko Noted I think with Aaliyah you have it hard because several people underrate her as a singer and some over hype her but when we talk tone and falsetto I think she is up there.
@bajeboi yeah, her tone and falsetto are very beautiful, but technically, there is nothing operatic about it. i was just setting him straight. that's it :)
Don't get me wrong, I love AAliyah, but those who can really "saang" wouldn't break up that delivery like she did. tI would be much more fluid and effortless.
@donkpatrol u kno wat ur talking bout. Ppl guess too much n don't kno anything. Aaliyah was a tru vocalist, meaning she cud do wateva she wanted to wit her voice.
I love Aaliyah and I think this was beautiful but wow I know Mariah Carey has damaged her vocals with time but one thing I know in the 90s and early 20s that woman's vocals were untouchable and those whistles were just amazing, liyah had a beautiful soft voice but she was kinda limited with her vocals too, I'm not hating I'm just saying the truth
Who cares if she doesnt have a whistle..? She had a very beautiful unique voice, and to me, she could sing better than mariah carey.. Aaliyah was very versatile when it came to singing
why are yall comparing a 17 year old aaliyah voice to a nowaday beyonce . Aaliyah didn't even get to really mature her voice yet cause she died so young at 22 i bet if she was still alive her voice would be the best . R.I.P AALIYAH
This note gives me chills.. The vibrato she had in that note showed off her classically trained vocals to the fullest.. She sounded like a true opera singer.. As strong as this note was, It is impossible for someone to say she couldn't zoom higher.. She looked so comfortable and at ease while hitting the note.. A true vocalist to the fullest.
she doesn't have whistle notes. show me a vid of her doing it before i believe it. dont get me wrong. she is talented and i love her songs but she doesn't have the whistle register.
@chrisak49 Whistle notes are NOTHING.. Do you hear me.. Nothing. I dont see how Mariah got recognition for it.. Mostly any female in the world.. Singer or not can hit and sustain a whistle note. Many males can too. Whistle notes are not extraordinary in anyway. I dont see why they get so much hype. Beyonce can hit whistle notes but no one notices.. Only Mariah fans really worry about whistles
@chrisak49 The whistle register starts after C6.. And beyonce can go all the way up to E6.. Her sister, Solange, Is a whistler too. Christina, Chante Moore, Jill Scott, and most female opera singers can.. Like I said.. Most females can hit whistle notes with ease.. You are fucking bananas to think Mariah is the only one that can whistle.. Minnie ripperton was whistling before she was born.. LMAO!! LOL!!!
