With water base such as Auto Air, you can use a urethane clearcoat. I use PPG DC3000 on most of my work, good durable clear.

I personally use House of Kolor and PPG automotive paint and clears. You can use any urethane or water based paint really.

I do not strain my paint and I use auto urethanes, House of Kolor and PPG.

The airbrushing took about 1.5 hours.

Overall the whole guitar took 4 hours, that's for basing it, transfering designs and finishing name then clearing.

I have a question and it looks like you know what your doing ;) I wanna paint my whole guitar part (not the neck) is there anything I need to know in preparing to paint a plastic like that? do I need to sand it? prime it? also what kind of paint and clear coat should I use I would really appreciate it

Rattle can I presume? you can use red scotchbrite pad for primer coat adhesion, prime with flexibler primer, then apply colorcoat, wait 48 hrs and apply clearcoat, use laquer clear over laquer paint and same goes for using enamel paints

What PSI are you when you on the white?

I just bought a one detail gun and still figuring it out.

I'm using an Iwata HP-CH Hiline series.

The white is overreduced by double the amount of reducer. My PSI is around 25 or a little less to control overspray.
