@TPunksProductions As far as what I found in Michigan's Off Road Vehicle Guide from DNR, it states:

Exhaust noise shall not exceed 99 Db(A) or 94 Db(A) on vehicles manufactured after January 1, 1986 when tested according to the provisions of the SAE J1287, June 86

test.

For the most part I think their limit is 94 Db. I don't know how strict Michigan is, but I got tested in Wisconsin and their limit is 96 Db. Almost got myself a ticket.

@Reckdog357 Thanks for the response man. I am going to be kinda scared ridding my quad around the trails lol. Its probably definitely not going to be near 96, or 94. I had a phoenix slip on my quad before that thing was pretty loud. I would say around 100, never got pulled over in WI yet. But my dasa will be that plus maybe a couple. Think I might just get another quad for the trails lol.

Those Meredith Grade trails have a trail head at Waco Rd and M18 just south of Houghton Lake. Head east from that trail head and you can go all the way to St Helen.

I would love to ride those trails. Can you give some directions from Baldwin on how to get there? If you get the chance, ride the Leota trails (up 127 and take Old 27 north) and the ones that connect to the Meredith Grade trails. The Grade trails are like what you were showing, ATV Routes. My bro almost ran into the side of an SUV on the trail. Definitely have to watch for the sand rails too.

@MrBobTheG As far as I know we hit up the Little O trail in Lake County MI, we camped in Baldwin. I am pretty sure this is the trail system we were on since we used the service trail to Peacock Ltd. for a few break downs.

@loopyjojo3000 I just got the new Yami YFZ450R which is amazing all around. I normally ride my Yami Raptor 660 for all the trail rides for the bigger motor and longer gears. The Kawi KFX450R seems to pull away in any gear and have no limits on speed, stock suspension is a little stiff. The CanAm DS 450 seems to be a little top heavy, could be fixed with wider axle/A-arms. The Honda TRX450R is also a great all around quad. The Honda is the one that tends to never need much work on it.
