Not a hardcore train fan, but you have to love the HSTs - be sad when they eventually are retired (not for another 15 years though!)

Great video - passing through Paddington on my way to Kent soon (have to go underground as Paul Weller would have said lol!)

Did you notice the message on the Plymouth train board? They'd run out of train drivers and hadn't got a crew to drive the train! It was at least half an hour late. I left London before the problem was resolved!! lol.

I guess that you'd have to train for several years to get to HST standard. There's a website that gives you an idea of what's involved - enter 'UK Train Driver Training' in search.
