  • After doing extensive research and questions, this unit has been identified as a 1969/1970 Maestro 1. Less than hundred of these were made 1n 1969/70, because of the very dangerous voltage (90v) wind direction circuitry. These were built in W. Gordon White's garage or Maximum's first location in Dover, Mass. This has been identified as the oldest Maestro still in operation and with original sensors, 42/43+ years. Making it a very scarce instrument. Many 25+ 30 year Maestro's have been noted. :)

  • Brilliant. I remember seeing one of those on a chemical works when I was an apprentice electrician. I was so amazed I tried to build one myself - without success. It brought back memories seeing it again. I've tried to find one on Ebay but without success. I did have a Davis for a while but found it to be cheap rubbish. I currently run the 'Instromet' with the 360 dial but have recently aquired the full size Munro unit. Thanks for the Vid.
