  • Stop your whining.

If you are so perfect, come up with your video and I will personally critise you & see how much you like that! :D

Nice video! I like chicken briyani. I don't really care what method a chicken briyani is supposed to be cooked like but as long as it tastes good, that is all that matters.

  • No Salt ?

  • @debojyotig9 Thank you. :) 43 thousand viewers :) well I started this to test Google Universal Search Results. Briyani or Biriyani in South India cooked different than North Indian Briyani. Now that I am in India will try to get some traditional Indian Food Recipes. Thanks for all the comments. Thats what makes this lively.

  • @KHAN1561 Thank you

  • nice recipe

    Visit my profile and ENJOY...

  • @onoharahigashi Mr. Blah , first learn the difference between typos and grammatical errors. Your oafish attitude is disgusting and maybe thats the reason why no one taught you that biryani can have tomatoes and can be prepared in layers.

if you want to crib whether tomatoes are added in biryani or not then you can continue this argument , if you want to give me english lessons then you can go to the literature channel.

  • @01saryu : Yes.You are right.I happen to be an oaf. A big, bad, clumsy oaf.You should have known before you chose to have a duel with me.

You can go ahead and add as many tomatoes as you want, nanny.Who am I to stop you. Hell, you can parboil the rice in tomato puree for all I am concerned.Do I even give a damn? No.

And, yes, you could do with some English classes. But, don't approach ME for them.I have better things to do than teach YOU English, you pregnant cow!

  • @heterodyned ; EARN your respect, lady. if you earn it, you will get it.

  • to personalchefsuresh, you did a decent job but still i feel your biriyani should be cooked different, maybe this taste is good

  • @onoharahigashi- looks like you have never tasted a biryani coz if u had then you would have realized that its not dry an has many layers, which are mostly tomato based. So i advice next time you eat a biryani keep your eyes open and next time your post a comment on someone s video keep your brains in place!

  • @01saryu : to quote you, " it is not dry an? has many layers which are mostly tomato based....." Stupid goat, you can go ahead and make your many layered, dry, tomato slush based biryani for all I care. Oh.And while you are going about it, take some English classes and spare us all your cancerous grammatical errors. Tomato based! Indeed!

  • @onoharahigashi so what you say that tomato not put in biriyani? you go only to five star hotel kya where they color your rice yellow/green or whatever and give you biriyani? and yes my english is bad and poor, so what it is like AIDS now? why compare english with your cooking knowledge? your cooking knowledge is poor , not saying this video is the bible for making biriyani, and yes for your information BIRYANI are also in layers, never heard of it kya?

  • @pakkamath123 : For starters, it's "biryani" and not "biriyani". And I never commented on your English, you prolly read some other comments of mine here.Speaking of it, it sucks. Your syntax leaves much to be desired...nincompoop!

Yes, I have no cooking knowledge, if that makes you happy. But neither do you, pachyderm. I never refuted the fact that biryani is in layers. Had your English been better, you would have known that...But....given your horrible grammar, maybe I am asking for too much.

  • @onoharahigashi how does it matter if its biryani or biriyani, please dont correct me firstly the word as far as i know has no origins in english yaar, why do you sound like a chomu who has not had his favorite nashta ? all you say is garbage man ..3rd class kachra! you are being a sewer ,,,you can google that if u want...(not regular english word) ...bhai/bahen more than anything keep your criticism in your pocket man..i mean you are doing favor to humanity by keeping your mouth shut..

  • @pakkamath123 : It does matter, troglodyte. I will correct you if I feel like, so there. Chomu, nashta...hell, those are new words for me.Thanks for enlightening me.

Isn't it also obvious that since I am a sewer, nothing but pure garbage is ever spoken by me?

WTF should I keep quiet, you cancerous Dravidian? Everyone has a right to his opinion, just don't encroach on mine or tell me I am wrong. If you don't agree with me, I care tuppence. . If unclear, turn into a piece of dust and blow away!

  • this is not biriyani

  • dude listen, first learn to speak with the accent, second learn to cook biriyani, third talk to your GP about your blood pressure, fourth post a video on you tube

  • This is not biriyani. Biriyani is, meat on bottom, cooked under layers of rice. What he made is called Pulao, which is rice mixed with chicken + masalas and all mxied and cooked together.

  • i could eat that my self,, 6 people

    lol

  • Dude he is cooking this kinda biryani for Blood Pressure patients if dont mixing of Salt is UNDERSTOOD. Good job Suresh. Keep it up. These guys learnt when they are in their Mom's Tummy.

  • This video would be useful if your taste buds are dead!!!! Try the dish and you will know for real.

  • cool

  • Good for you....i would give u props...i respect people who just follow their passion.

P.S dont worry about the haters you are doing a good job.continue and u will be the a perfectionist 1day!

  • i appreciate people who show off their cooking passion but can't tolarate any wrong steps... I can say so as i am a professional indian chef..

  • dude... first learn to make a biryani & then make a clip

  • hey , why are you scolding him. looks like he is in US and a beginner in this area. these people stay with another 2/3 bachelors and for them its like something is better than nothing. no doubt he messed it up , and it is not going to be chicken biriyani , BUT this is eatable and may taste good also (hope he added salt ). You can tell this as Messed Chicken Biriyani .. but doing that he got 43 thousand viewers and you and me are among them LOL :))

  • Suresh... You forget to add Salt on it....

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons . com w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • If you are in US search for "Indian grocery locator"

  • Excellent job Suresh. Thanks for sharing.

  • cute guy lol

  • must be a software engineer with cooking hobby afterwork. I will have to try your recipe sometime, will let you know :)

  • Sorry to say this but the recipe could be way better if you give exact time and show the end product.

  • I love it at 1:30 when you are about to say half a cup of chicken and you realize chicken are not measured in cups...and thn u finally skip it...

  • great dish thanks for sharing.

  • back off the video i am certian your accent can do no better ATLEAST he is doing something with his time which is better than what you are doing with yours by the way how many times have you come back to watch this video

  • this guy can barely count

  • most people said something about his accent which is not fake because obviously none of you knows what a middle eastern looks or sounds like besides Borat (which is all you know)

you can start commenting on his food now....

    gj guy

  • Chill out with insulting the dude, who cares about the accent. Like tinypopy22 said, it's a cooking clip, not and english lesson.

Good job with the recipe man

  • @mash7981 : It's just that had he not fumbled for ways to spruce his foreign accent up to American standards, and related a really unnecessary story on the stone grinder, we viewers would've got more value for the six minutes of the video..anyways, here are some I caught: slitted green chillies, five garlics, three cardamom...he's fresh. And, whoever heard to tomatoes in a biryani?

  • @onoharahigashi : so they dont add tomatoes in biriyani???? are you like a su chef!?

  • @heterodyned :you meant sous chef, i presume. Learnt the Western accent, and cared a dime about the spelling?Bad.Very bad...

and now, on a politer note, they don't.Tomatoes do NOT go into a biryani. Any rice dish with COOKED meat is not a biryani.it is a pulao, IMHO.

  • @onoharahigashi -> wow thanks for the correction!? and pardon me for not having vested a 'dime' for the spelling ..now on a 'politer' note, you should look into Sanjeev Kapoor's old cook books or videos, wherein he has clearly mentioned about using tomatoes, so he wouldnt be upto your standards I am guessing?

  • @heterodyned : No, sweetie. It's mediocre to trust a cook like Sanjiv Kapoor who makes ANYTHING, ranging from cakes, noodles, pasta, roti, snacks.....hell, is there anything he CAN't make? If you would like to know how to make a good biryani, watch some of vahchef's videos. And no...I am not his brother. best wishes...

And oh! the best biryani recipes are not found in common cookbooks(read: Sanjiv Kapoor, Nita Mehta, Tarla Dalal)

  • @onoharahigashi -> Thanks for the update on the eve of this fantastic culinary expedition, which you should continue perhaps ! I love the mediocrity within myself than ranting on eccentricity ( which you should be quite familiar with) , i still prefer the yummy tomatoes in my biriyani !!

btw Sanjeev Kapoor was just an example wherein he mentioned of tomatoes, for all I care if you have opinions on NOT adding tomatoes then you could start your own 'We dont want tomatoes in Biriyani' cult..

  • @heterodyned : You're welcome. I have always maintained that I am eccentric. But, eccentric little me is certain that you are worse than mediocre. You're a nobody.

I still say, if you like tomatoes, go ahead and add it. Don't reply back to me saying that MY notion of omitting them is wrong. I hope this is clear. If not, go jump off a cliff! Now... I do think it is a good idea to start such a cult. Once I have gathered some fans, we'll come and plug your stupid mouth with cherry tomatoes.

  • @onoharahigashi -> you are no less/more than me, carve your notions on a golden plate and hang them in your bedroom or BROADCAST it on youtube. i dont care.. dont tread on my notions and space...Thanks...

  • @heterodyned : I'm not picking up a fight with you for nothing. It was you who started by deciding to reply to a comment I had made. You ruffled my feathers, and now it's very unsporting of you to whine.Sit back, and enjoy! Don't thank me too. It's irrelevant, and I have not asked for it.

  • @heterodyned & pakkamath123- By now even personalchefsuresh must be bored and frustrated by the comments. I am sure by now everybody is convinced that biryani can contain tomatoes.Dont you have any other work rather than continuing this stupid argument!?

@onoharahigashi- you continue coz i am sure you dont have any other work.

  • @01saryu Thank you, well I am learning a lot from the comments and it helps me make it better next time, Its been a while since I posted a Video, Will add some traditional Indian Recipes soon

  • Good job!!!

  • why u ppl are talking about his accent ..its nothing to do with his cooking

  • It's a video for God's sake and accent is obviously important. Fake accents are difficult to understand and a pain to watch. First of all, why he has to fake his accent?

  • you didn't add salt lol
