  • @WelshBathBoy - It's "Fantasie-Impromptu" by Chopin, and was later adapted by Harry Carroll & Joseph McCarthy into the popular song, "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows".

  • If this was in 1992, it will have been at some point between January and September 1992, as Crowther had the car crash on 3rd October that year, which brought his stage and TV career to an end.

  • This program was a New Year's special, so yes, it aired well before September.

  • What a talented pianist Leslie Crowther was - an all-round entertainer in every sense!  RIP Les!
