You look at Khmer Krom (Khmer=Cambodia)(Krom=bottom, under) so actually it means Cambodia people live under Vietnam in Prey Nokor city (Viet changed it to Ho Chi Minh, also before was Saigon).Prey Nokor was Cambodian Seaport city in the 1800. And there are about 1 million Cambodia still living there (down from 3 million to 1 million) In Ho Chi Minh city, there are about 90% Viets and about 5% Khmer Krom.

I saw Vietcong in Camb in 1979 when VC invaded Camb.I lived through Pol Pot. and PP was VC's BEST FRIEND and was used by VC to kill his own Innocent pple.When PP realized it was wrong by killing his own pple, then he turned aroung to fight back VC but it was too late. No one in Camb likes PP anymore & pple never like him before either because he was VC's Best Friend.

I forgot one more thing, after Vietcong invaded Cambodia in 1979. Vietcong took all of PP's Chinese made weapons that were in the warehouses and many many weapons that were laying on the ground with no roofs on.
