  • @rcWizzard oh well i tried man, great project though!

  • @rcWizzard your wheels are 5" ?

  • @rcWizzard your wheels are 5" ? Traxxas makes 7" tires for the summit. 6.3" wheels for the revo and maxx trucks

  • To - @CANTUSEACAMERA

The wheels are 6" (6.75 overall), the tires are 14" dia, 6" wide.

  • DId you think about motors?

  • To - @starwarsfan767

  • To - @jsnbnas

You just don't get it, do you, it's about the build, not just the final completion.

  • @rcWizzard i get it, and id like to see it finishe too, i appreciate your meaningful videos, Some people still want dick and fart jokes lol

  • Just started watching your videos, you are incredably... i dont know what to say but AWESOME was the first word that popped up when i saw this. Hope to see a part 20 soon :D

  • I was trying to type a response to baptistedeschreval but I didn't dp it right. Where he's telling you to take his advice very seriously lol.. sorry for the confusion.

  • @blakemckee

    I gotcha, thanks.

  • @rcWizzard hey can you tell me more about your driver he really caught my interest :) (name, age , birth place etc)

  • To - @baptistedeschrevel

Jolten Jack. He's a Halloween decoration. He come's in an electric chair, battery powered.

    Search on Youtube for him.

  • will u make the drivers part or interior realistic ??(pedals steering wheel seatbelt)etc

    is it 4 wheel steer???

    one more thing

the body is not suppose to be parralel to the grround the front needs to lean down a little

if i were u id take those advices seriously for more realism

although great job so far and good luck for the rest

  • @baptistedeschrevel

Yes, will make a realistic interior.

And yes, I know how the Real Grave Digger looks, and Performs. :-)

You must realize,,,,, it's not done yet.

    Thanks.

  • @rcWizzard yeah i lnow

i just didnt know u were counting on changing it

    cool

  • @blakemckee

    Dude, what are you saying???!!!!

  • @blakemckee whaat?

we can also say 4 wheel steer ...

  • @rcWizzard me again

the back of the body has an angle and aint perpendicular to the roof

maybe u should cut it so that the sticker aint to small

unless it fits on ur chassis and u cant gofurther??

    great job though

    whens part 20???

  • awesome truck'

  • dont forget the cross bone flag for the 1/4 scale modle (:

  • lol, it looks like the headlights have eyelashes XD

  • what is the plastic stuff you used to make the boby where could i get one!

And can you paint them with spray-paint?

  • @GankstaKMusic

Plastic is Pet-G (also called Vivak) .080" thick.

    A vacuumed formed body, Me.

I used paint for Lexan bodies.

  • Are you ever going to run it in dirt hill for a test

  • @focaatdisney

First test will be grass, then gravel.

  • did you have a video with the car running?

  • @kyll3r14

    The Engine yes, part 1.

    The Truck, no, not yet.

  • you said that you weren't good at painting hell no dude you are amazing at painting!!!!!!!

  • are you gone make the exaust like the real one?

  • @OfficialRaptorzilla

As best I can, yes. The new exhaust will need to come thru the chassis and clear the body.

  • This Grave Digger Truck is Fantastic. The attention to detail and the complete Body Shell are Awesome. Well done its the best RC Monster Truck i have ever seen!

  • @evroula

    Why such a comment??

  • @evroula sombody needs a fresh tampon

  • god damn how do you do it, amazing body and paint job 5/5

  • ANYWAY! do it go?

  • @travieboyxxx2001

    Not yet.

  • He Is Taking His Time You idiot He Will post a vid When It Is Running. Do You know How Long it Would Take you To Do This No, It Would Take You About 5 or 6 Years He Is Doing It In 2 or 3 years

  • RLY TIGHT PAINTJOB MAN 100/100

  • 10/10 on the paint job

  • @themaster91156

    Thanks man.

  • That is a good vid. thankx

  • why not do a 2 spd gearbox so you can take off with alot of torque than get your top spd?

  • @norom117

That option was not available with this custom made Transfer Case.

  • RESPECT!!

  • rcWizzard, very nice job your doing!can not wait to see the front axle! While watching the videos I said to my wife."He has got to do something about that box and build a new front axle". Then in the next video you said you were planning to. lol Awesome Job! Thanks for sharing alot of your knowledge and your project. Ric in NYS

  • Thank you.

  • you forgot the bad to the bone logo on the top

  • im gonna do a maximum destruction version! haha!! top that digger!!!

  • haha it even has suspension limiting straps! this thing is done to the T!

  • nice i subscribed so if you get it running!

  • Wow, that's really, really nice work....

You inspire me to go to something like that.

That is just a nice job you done on that 1/4 Scale Grave Digger....

  • thats realy cool you did something like that. you think it could be possible to scal down a real car just as rhey did with that little eingine. shell. frame rails. leaf springs, k member, exactley like a real car.

  • Yes, it is possible. Search for 312 PB . A 1/3 scale Race car. A Perfect replica.

  • Would you PLEASE drive that thing!!!

    Thanks.

  • Just so you know, I Can't drive it. The engine is not in a Final mounting position. The engines drive shaft is not connected to the transfer case. Fuel cell is not mounted, Steering, Brakes, Water overflow tank, electronics,,,,,,,,, . It will still be a while before this thing is drivable.

    Thanks!

  • are those the tires your going to be using? u should look for bigger RC

    tires for more authenticity

  • I've never seen 14/15 inch diameter RC tires that look like Monster Truck tires. But I have looked.

    Check out part 15.

  • that looks sweet 5 stars

  • oh my bad i didnt see your part 14 vid

    those tires look sick

  • how much money did you put into this? someday when im retired i would like to do something like this. and all your effort seems like a waste with those tires and rims, no disrespect. it still is a killer truck.

  • Its very nice car :-)

  • its bad ass

  • you should paint the naked metal green when you get the chance. like at the end of the build. as a last priority.

  • It will be Powder Coated Green.

  • why a skeleton in the seat?

  • That's the driver.

  • interesting choice...........

  • now just change the tires cuz those it has on makes the grave digger look bad...

  • Stay Tuned.......

  • Don't look bad at all :)

But i think you shold get some more "monster-trucky" wheels and tires if you get what i mean.

  • look at part 13. he has sopme really cool wheels

  • wow your good when do we se it run

  • That will be a few months.

  • try quad bike tyres. Bearcat has lugs in many sizes as small as 4 inch i think.

  • Damn gud job man!

  • dont look bad love the vidos im watching all of them right now

  • why did you choose to do a 2wd model? instead of 4wd? just for ease of completion?

  • I want to wait to see how my current gearing works for the rear. If it works good then I'll do a new front end with drive and steering, which will be a major Challenge. I do not have a CNC machine. It's a Smithy 3-in-1. 20 years old, But still works Great!!

  • how much did the truck cost all together and wat truck was it exactly

  • I've got 4 or 5 grand in it, including the engine. Not sure what you mean by "wat (what) truck was it" ?? It's always been a Grave Digger.

  • do u have a battery in it for the lights or what

  • Yes, a 9 volt taped under the hood.

  • Are you going to put different tires on the truck?

  • No.

I'm going to strip the tread off these and glue strips on to look like Monster Truck tires.

  • It just doesn't seem like the tires fit the truck. Maybe wider tires?

Also, two thumbs up on the skeleton driver idea.

  • So far they're the best I have found.

  • by far one of the coolest rc creations I have ever seen. I have custom built many rc cars trucks and boats but nothing like that. great work and you should give yourself a big pat on the back for that one.

  • hi,

please make a video, when you drive this big big truck, please

  • Oh yes!

  • nice work Wizz :) :) this isnt the easyest paint job one could do so bravo :) greetZZzz from the Netherlands

  • yeah ive seen all ur vids dude

i thinkur an artist the truck looks awesome

im really looking 4ward too see it running.

the engine is real awesome, so is the suspension, and the body, lol the whole truck is awesome...congrats dude

  • Thanks man!

  • is there any vid where we can actually see the truck ripping though mud??

    lol

    or at least running?

  • No not yet. That will be a few months.

Video part 1 shows the engine running.

  • now you need the flag and to get it running this is an awsome project

  • dont forget to pinstripe those flames witht red

  • there's a really cool driver inside the truck :-)

  • this is all awsome but we need to see it goin

  • Patience my friend.

  • that's great

  • Nice

  • holy shit this a kick ass truck nice man

  • are you going to put any other decals on the roof like the 3 time world champion logo? or the skulll head w/ flames?

  • I think I have a Skull I can make decals from but not the 3 time logo. Next time I have more made I'll have them done.

  • is this going to have real headlights on it?

  • Not "real" headlights but I think they Look real.

  • The truck is amazing, can't wait to see you drive it.

  • did u put an radiator for water cooling in this thing ?

  • Not a radiator but 2 water tanks that hold 95 oz of water. Check out video part 12.

  • I cant wait until he paints the rims

  • I'm in the process of stripping them now.

    :-)

  • Any day NOW!

  • Actually, today. Click on "More from rcWizzard".

  • Hey pretty nice work! Are you going to paint the frame lime green after?

  • Yes, it will be Powder Coated green.

  • Alright. The paint can do it's job, but it's not Grave Digger without the chassis.

  • looks realy great !

  • where did you get those 1/10 scale flames if you don't mind me asking?

  • Hobbytown. Parma# I-10786

  • thanks but i dont have a hobby town as i live in the uk. they also dont sell flames decals at my lhs just sponsors.

  • Go to EBay. com

Search for "Parma Flames" 2nd item is the one I used. But-it-now for (US) $3.75 + 1.89 shipping. Shipping will be a pit more to UK.

    Good luck.

  • that looks really nice. cant wait to hear that v8!!!

  • Check out video part 1.

  • yeah just when i posted that i saw part 1 and i was like crap...

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!! WERE IS PART 12! I check everyday for it! T.T

  • It will be a week or 2.

  • Awsome project! Great to see the videos going again, I was starting to wonder if it had become a dust collector.

  • thats a lot of work for a truck that is not a 4x4

  • Yet!

  • dude that's so cool can't wait to see you driving it!!! ;-*

  • do you have any vids of you driving it?

  • No. I need steering and brakes before I can control it.

  • have you considered a terra style tire?

  • No.

  • just thought it would look better that way, you know add to the realism. But then again it might be hard to find a terra tire in that size

  • I did a search for terra tires, they looked like regular street tires for trucks, not with the 20 strips (each side) like Monster Truck tires have.

  • Have you looked at the goodyear rawhides? they might be a little bigger than what you want, but like most atv tires, the listed size is a bit bigger than they actually measure out. Depending on the manufacturer, an 18" atv tire can range from 18.5"-16" actual measurement. IIRC, dunlop also makes a terra...ish looking tire for atvs.

  • Yes, I've seen them. They're either to tall, to narrow, and to heavy.

  • well in any case it still looks good! (what sise wheel is that?)

  • If you had time, Witch i know you don't, how much would it cost for you to build one for me?

  • Would you want the Conley engine?

Check out the new version at ConleyPrecision. com.

    Still interested??

  • Yea, i saw the stinger earlier.

Just wondering how much it would be if you could build one from scratch. How much would it cost me?

  • It would be around $10k.

  • Yea, i figured around there.

Great deal! better then the conley website.

Any chance when we will be able to see it run?

  • That 10k does not include an engine, FYI.

It will be a month or two.

  • Alright, Ill get back to you when i see the truck running.

  • wow i cannot wait to see the final product

  • Man that truck looks awesome... when looked from a distance.. it could very well be the full size one.

    Its a master piece!!

  • you know, you could have done the paint job to the inside of the car, that way the paint would have had less chance of chipping off or getting ruined if something falls on it, they do it this way always with rc cars!
