  • Any trainset that lack seperate doors for the driver on both sides are inferior. It sucks having to go through passenger area when it's crowded. I prefer these over any trainsets.

  • @Quasi84 I have not got a clue what that comment has to do with this video. All shinkansen driving cabs have doors each side.

  • @Rocketboy1950 There are trainsets that do not have that. The trainsets that I drive do not. Another user mentioned ICE3, which also lack seperate doors. Shinkansen FTW!

  • Can't spot any 500kei

  • I'm pretty sure that I got one in the HQ remake.

  • ha ha ha,

it seems you work at train station.

  • Whats wrong with that?

  • The Train at 3:11 can have up to 16 cars - or 1,634 passengers in all.

  • One assumes you are referring to the E4 set at the front.

  • Neat! Whats the speed limit thru the station? To me it seems like a rail based autobahn lol

  • Don't actually know but I suspect 220-240 km/h

  • nice video!

  • ありがとございます

  • 300 NOZOMI?

  • I doubt it but this was a few years ago.

  • The n700 doing what it was made to do, gotta love em.

  • 700, E2 pulling the E4, 100, 300, and the E3 series.

  • how fast were they goin

  • I expect that the fastest would have been in the region of 270km/h. The E4 ( double decker ) is only allowed 240km/h.

  • Were the trains tilting when they hit the corners?

    Amazing Video.

  • Only because the track is superelevated

  • Cool and thanks for the reply.

  • I wonder how identical the controls are compared to a basic pilot operated monorail.

  • Repeating same series too many times and no JR 500,

however in overall, the movie is still great, thanks for sharing....

  • Yeah I was looking out for some 500 sets too, I love those train sets. After the ICE3, those have to be my favourite sets.

  • Hey svartmetal, look this vid series. Its a view from Hakata to Tokyo, in the cab of a 500 series shinkansen(seriously). I think you'll like it.

  • Great collage of different Shinkansen sets Rodney.
