Tony Blair, for all his critics, was a gifted political leader. He took the Labour Party from being completely unelectable to winning three general elections, the first two by parliamentary landslides. He DID make mistakes, but Britain became a better place in the ten years he was PM than if the Tory party had won the 1997 General Election which is what would have happened had Brown been leader of the Labour party.

I is just not believable that T.B. believes, himself, what he is saying. Abbas, Fayyad et al do not have a mandate to represent the Palestinian people. They never did. Blair knows this full well. The Palestinians are livid that this so-called peace process is going forward without their willing approval or participation. Its purpose is to completely sell-out the Palestinians' natural rights. Which would be why they have been deliberately excluded. The whole thing is a sham. An outrage!
