I checked it out, just type in "Liam Neeson unveiling Statue of Michael Collins. There is a lot of Polish People in Ireland at the moment. Alas, because of the economy have gone back to Poland. "JP 11" is one of my heroes..
When I watch the movie, I think that I am looking at DeValera, especilly where he reproached Michael Collins(Liam Neeson) for swearing. Some people always said that DeValers should have being in a religious order. He went to daily mass in a little Chaplel on Fitzwilliam St. which was only 2 minutes from Government Buildings and did not present a security problem for his Body Guards.
As a young boy growing up in Wexford and Dublin, I had occassion to see DeValera many times in person. Alan Rickman, although British, played him to a T. Absolutely Brilliant. He should have got an Oscar for the part.

@liamthedream I wish I could give this multiple thumbs up, but youtube will only allow one. Thank you for sharing that bit of information! That's very interesting, and you were indeed lucky to have such an opportunity. I agree that Alan should have gotten an oscar, though I think that about everything he's ever done. :)

Alan has got Irish roots, his father was an Irish. Unfortunately he died when Alan was just eight.

@liamthedream Yeah. De Valera's voice is very difficult to replicate, because of its unnatural lowness.

He looks so much De Valera, the actors in that film look a lot lik their characters, it was really well made.
