@Herrera Hospitals can not legally turn away anyone if they come into the ER with injuries, so all a illegal has to do to get free medical care is go into a hospital, get treated, then they leave. In the end who gets the bill? Not the illegals, they skip out and leave the hospital, so its the tax payers who have to cover the bill. Also what about schooling for kids? The 14th Amndmnt's current misinterp's based upon the presump. that the Wong Kim Ark ruling encompassed illegals. It didn't address children of illegal aliens & non-immigrant aliens, but determined allegiance for legal immigrant parents based on the meaning of domicil(e). Since it's inconceivable that alien parents could have legal domicile in the US, the ruling didn't extend birthright citizenship to children of alien parents.
