I'm going to have a proper sit down listen to a pair tomorrow. I've owned HD650's and they were pretty impressive. I failed to see what all the fuss was about with Grado's - all bar the GS1000. They are special. If the 800's are more enjoyable than the Grado's...I may well be taking them home! :)

Now i am listening with benchmark usb dac1 dac/amp. But soon i ll have wooadudio wa22 tube amp.

Nice nice. The hobby is a bit too expensive for me as a teenager still...need to find a job soon to fund it. Need amps and DACs still. Have only got a MacBook with a Grado HF2 at the momen and an iPod with the Sennheiser IE8s.

Actually they r in different league. Logi is not bad at movies and games. Beside that i sold them and now using altec fx6021 for multimedya, i also have beyer dt770 for computer also.

Especially enstrumental music, i like much. More enstrumant more fun... Hd800 has huge soundstage and enstrument seperation. U can hear everysound. But i f u listen more bas based music, look for something else.
