  • What song is this by the way

  • and now we all live in tiny apartments thanks to undesirables breeding and the evil tool of the jews multiculturalism, fucking good luck owning one of these houses 30 years of working like a dog and being a jew slave in a capitalist economy for what

  • Das Lied ist wirklich wunderschön / The song is absolutely wonderful!

  • Thanks, dear Arthur, for this wonderful video, this is one of my favourite songs of that great time in which I would have loved to live.

    Fondly

    Marlene

  • Beautifully done video, thank you for making it. I consider these houses to be mansions. Where I live these would be millions of dollars and I mean millions.

  • I love anything to do with the 3rd Reich -

  • @TheBeechingAxe ..,how about 'epic failure' assclown?

  • Notice the gardens of these beautiful houses, the grass so green, the flowers are gorgeous, the trees, in general a wondwerful landscape architecture and very pleasing to the eye.

  • Not only the houses, also the wonderful music, which transports me to that time. I would have been born during WWII, of course, in Deutschland. No matter what happened as a result of the jewish conspiracy, at least I would have lived there and perhaps met Adolf Hitler.

  • Spiritman: You are ignorant. We are discussing the beautiful houses of a great era, and the music, and you starta talking nonsense. No gas chambers anywhere. I do not belive that the holocaust happened.

  • What beautiful architecture!

  • It is not only the wonderful architecture which brings me back time and again to this video, but i love the song so much that it makes me sing along with.

  • I really enjoyed this clip, if only I could find the lyrics to that wonderfully inspirational lieder it would be a nice addition.

  • This song is "Heil Deutschland", if you go to ingeb. org and search for this the lyrics are there.

  • Muy buen video, preciosas las casas y la musica tambien. Muchas gracias.

  • Great video!

  • Pay for your own sins before you cry of others.

To "us"? You have done nothing in your godforsaken life, and now your nation is beholden to China for money, and your armies fight for the good of Israel. USA is dead.

  • I love the houses, and the wonderful musical score that accompanies these expressive edifices born of a time when style meant just that. prost gemeinschaft

  • Beautiful!

  • They look very much like middle class houses from the 30s in Denmark, but there seems to be a higher degree of variation. Is that because they tried do adapt to the traditional local style?

Sadly enough today everything has to be ugly - however in the last few years I have noticed both some new houses as well as new storey buildings with a nice asteatics - some even in retro 20s-30s. Not that I think it is necessary to plagiarize, of course. But perhaps the worship of uglyness is fading away?

  • Yes you are correct exactly, some designs had a local basis. As well there were more types of houses during the period than I show - traditional designs existed for holiday houses in Bayern and for farmhouses.

I agree much is ugly today - something designed on computer does not seem the same as one designed by a human. The style of 20s-30s is superior to today. Here too there are houses which mimic the old styles, but I must believe the workmanship is not equal.

  • I agree with you, Artur Axmann. Beautiful houses and Germany today is like a colony of the USA. many regiments with foreign soldiers. a Shame.

  • Beautiful houses and great music!!!

  • Sound middle class homes, something most people in the US can only dream about.

    Cheers! :)

  • And these houses were not bought with shady mortgages from greedy banks given to people who did not deserve them.

  • The residence of the same Europe style exists in Yokohama in which I live.

However, the residence of almost all the Europe style disappeared by U.S. bombing of B-29.

  • I wish to see this architecture at some time.

  • the enormous bombing of Japan is not known to many (except for the nuclear bombs). It's a shame what happened.

  • The Third Reich was a golden, magical moment in German history. A time when Germany was healthly, happy, beautiful, clean, orderly, homogeneous, prosperous (after the economic catastrophe of the Jewish Weimar repubic) strong, optimistic about the future, a cultural, economic, and military powerhouse...a time when Germans were masters of their own house and destiny. Simply the best years in German history!

  • I cannot fathom why people like you seem to love to rewrite history to show the Nazi era as some grand time that everyone would like to get back to.

You have lost your Jew-hating mind.

  • Another professional victim from USA.

    Goodbye.

  • there's nothing wrong with hating Jews. they did wrong and are doing wrong. and the Nazi was a great time for the Nazis and the German's. i just wish people would stop being jealous that the Nazis and German catholics were the only safe and happy people during the world wars. *sigh*

  • Very nice houses.

  • Spring time for hitler and germany

  • love those houses, shame that germany aren't making them anymore coz of the goverments cowardness for their past. they shouldn't shame for their past, they just fought for their idealogy and a real europa

  • The old houses were built to last forever. The new houses are not. This is very telling of the mindset of today, no future.

  • Great vidoe. Artur.

I am still hanging in there.

Watching this US election between AIPAC's choices. ARGGGG

  • We have no better choices in Europe - the same movement controls the candidates here too.

Good luck, we will need it to survive.

  • Are these houses cheaper than ordinary houses or expensive today? Also in which part of the country are most of them placed?

  • The prices of houses from this era are similar to the others. The type of house is a greater determinant.

One will find most concentration of such houses in suburbs of larger cities, but they are everywhere, the Reich encouraged new home building.

Houses in the west will be in better condition but with renovations sometimes must be reversed. In the east many old houses remain neglected, due to the communist idiocy.

  • Damn i wanna reborn in 1923 in Germany, i love that german culture

  • I was actually a girl in my last life. This is why I'm here. I was born in 1932. It was a wonderful time.

  • Love the music, what is it?

  • The title of this song is 'Heil Deutschland'

  • I can understand why. Heil Duutschland. Only we could do so much is so little time 1932-1945. The Third Reich.

  • This is very interesting

  • Are any of those houses for sale? Hahaha just joking, I can only dream.

  • Many of these images are from realestate ads - so yes, you could come to Germany and buy your own house from the Reich :)

  • congratulations ...... grusse

  • The quality of the houses and streets was much better during that time than it is today. My parents live in a house that was built in 1936 and it still has the same tiles on the roof and the same windows. Also in Germany houses were built with doubleglazed windows and central heating already. A standart that they introduced in England much, much later. The street in front of our house never needed any maintenance within the last 70 years.

  • This is very true.

The proof is in the photos I show here - these are images of today, and the houses survive war and time. The past had a value for quality as more important than quantity. The houses of today are built to exist for perhaps 40 years. Before 1945, houses were built to last forever.

Even in the east where there has been neglect, the structures remain sound.

  • I agree, I am an Artur fan as well! I think the world needs more Artur's! Long live our Artur!

  • Well, I can say, Artur has done it again! Beautiful and most wonderful. This person is amongst the most credible, and most knowledgeable, of the 1920-40's era regarding Germany! From everything to politics to architecture. Sorry to call you 'this person' Artur but I am truly impressed with your span and degree of knowledge. You just keep on impressing me! (Even if I would try!) I can't fault you history-wise! Luv ya! Well done my German friend! Awesome! Proud of you!

  • Agree with Ross4916. American houses too, reflect our values- cheap, fast, commercialist, lowest-common-denominator. Dazu haste recht, Herr Axmann- es würde einen schönen Welt.

  • What is this song called?

  • This song title is "Heil Deutschland" aka "Deutschland du Land der Treue"

  • BEAUTIFUL, american architecture cant even serve as garages to these beautiful homes..

  • These homes reflect order, symmetry & substance and are also inviting and warm. No doubt, they are well built and I'm happy some have been preserved. I wonder if many are left in Ost Preussen and former DDR? Do any real estate agents specialize in homes of the 1930s-1940s?

  • Many old houses remain in old DDR and to the east, but have seen neglect. Sometimes this is good as the structure is original, but the elements create decay. Communists are poor at maintaining buildings, as the red lie kills all good. A few houses were maintained and are preserved today. In western areas, buildings have a better structure, but many are renovated and lose original interior.

No real estate broker would advertise for the era, but sometimes ads will read 'charm of the 30s' and such.

  • You have a pretty sweet house. Similar architecture can be found in England as AngloSaxonVanguard put aswell.

  • It looks just like british architecture from the same time.

  • It's wonderful anyway!

    Thanks, Artur.

  • Gross aus Amerika. Ich mag die Architektur; schoen.

  • Pardon. "Gruss aus..."

  • No problem, I understood :)

  • Sieg Heil!

  • On topic of Panzer, I do like "Lied der Panzergrenadiere"

  • Wow the roof of some houses is very high! I love the house at 00:30. This is a great video!

  • Thank you for the kind words.

  • By the way, check your messages. :)

  • einfach geil :)

  • I can watch this video daily, and also listen to its music.

    Wunderbar!

  • I am the same, I love this song. I sing it as well, it is perfect.

  • Cool, what other songs do you sing?

  • This is of course not me singing...I am not so good!

  • That's okay, what other songs do you sing? I like the panzerlied and some other songs, how about you?

  • I do not sing any songs here, these are all old recordings :)

However, I enjoy much music of Reich period, most of it is good.

  • wHAT A WONDERFUL VIDEO! THE HOUSES ARE FANTASTIC, THE MUSIC IS THE VERY BEST.

    SIEG HEIL!

  • Your house is really nice!, as all others shown in your video.

  • Artur, I will try to download them now. Thanks a lot! I looked at your favourites, we have similar tastes....

    God bless.

    Marlene

  • great film i love the music thanks Artur for uploading a great collection of film about the Reich best wishes ksfloyd

  • Artur, where can I download the song?

  • I will send you a message

  • Your house is beautiful!!!

Deutschland du Land der Treue, is one of my favorite songs of that time.

  • The song can be downloaded online if you do not already own a copy, or if you wish to have one.

Many houses of this era are being preserved and treasured today, in opposition to the cowardly German government continuing to oppose anything made between 1933-45. Perhaps someday I will make a book of these houses.

  • The music is fantastic.

  • I am happy you like the video. I appreciate older residential architecture, and I believe this facet of design has received little attention, especially for material built between the wars, and especially in Europe. Perhaps I will make a second video on this theme eventually.

The song is called 'Deutschland du Land der Treue'

  • Thank you for uploading this wonderful video. The houses are so beautiful, the music is fascinating and Deutschland is the most beautiful country in Europe.

    Many, many thanks!

    Wunderbar!

    Ich danke Ihnen vielmals.

  • the same thing happened in britain the labour left wing party destroyed all are great buildings like eg the east india co building and old english mannor houses to build tower blocks

  • Really nice architecture

  • Beautiful homes that reflect the culture and environment they were built in . I'm quite sure that our environment directly affects outlook and behaviour - hence the high crime rate and social problems experienced in most modern concrete housing developments . Nice to see these lovely buildings still preserved and well maintained !

  • It seems like the communists won in more than one way. Nameless souless building developments were so common, and now we are cursed with pretentious gaudy new houses. Any real community that exists today exists in older developments.

  • But that's the case everywhere, New York, Washington DC, Trinidad in the West Indies, it's the modern mass Kultur era!

  • Oh but you are so so correct with your comment about Trinidad. All the interesting and unique architecture is being or has been destroyed. This is especially true of Port of Spain up from Marine Square and in the vicinity of the "Goal". Great Vid and I do love the music!

  • Very nice homes! Quality over quanity is what I always say :)

  • Thank you for the comment. And during the Reich, there was much new construction...so there was quality and quantity. If you come to Germany you will see that many of these houses have survived in good condition. They were built properly.

  • I've lived in Germany for a bit when I was younger. We lived in Schoenberg from 1989-1992. Dad was stationed in Ramstein Air Force Base.

  • You should return sometime. In some ways much has changed, but everything is still the same as well. Sadly, your dollar is worth much less, so be prepared.
