@eternalgracenote I agree. Some people say homophobic people are closeted gays and lesbians and nothing more, and frankly, I am starting to believe that. I am a straight woman and I don't give a fuck what other people do with their own bodies. I believe the only way to show opposition to a certain lifestyle without hurting others is to not engage in that behavior, in that lifestyle. Gays and lesbians are abused too severely. I think people should leave them the hell alone.

@evanstoler If you keep up with your current events as much as I do, and I don't think you do, you'd find that every politician that has spent so much time on the topic had been caught in a gay scandal. (Example: Gingrich grilling Clinton about his affair while he was having one of his own.) I'm just stating a common unfortunate thing that happens. Santorum's behavior indicates that he has a personal vendetta against homosexuals as a lifestyle. Not the people themselves.

@eternalgracenote Gingrich has only done women I think, unless I missed something but anyway the only way someone will have a same sex scandal is if they decide to have one. All the guys that get talked about who have had them wouldn't have the reputations they now have if they had refrained from doing what they did. Santorum hasn't done anything like that to this point and I think it's highly unlikely he ever will despite the comments here making fun of him.

@psuedospike If you can give a clear definition as to what "is gay" means, then I'd like to hear it cause to this point it doesn't look like there's a unanimous agreement on how that is interpreted. I guess being masculine and having a wife and kids no longer seems to matter to many, so perhaps there needs to be clarification. If you say he's obsessed with the topic, well...it seems like most public figures and people on the planet are obsessed with it, regardless of their position.
