@Vanhelsing8900 Been a Hawks fan since I can remember listening to lloyd pettit in the mid 60's. Season ticket holder in the 80's (2nd balcony) Worn the Indian when other teams dominated! Play senior hockey and still wear the Hall, Esposito and Belfour jersey along with the old leather Cooper pads. As Savard said "Commit to the Indian"
I went with my dad every year for the past 10 years when there were maybe, tops, 3,000 fans there and the sound of a faint drum could be heard from the rafters. Take pride in your loyalty, take pride in your team.
3 years ago no one gave a shit about the Blackhawks. It was always like 1st bears, 2nd cubs, 3rd sox, 4th bulls, then the Hawks. Hawks always last. Now that there winning its WOO!! HAWKS! How bout stickin with ure team through it all, not only when there winning
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII well you MUST be one of those people who are there only when they're winning because for one ... screw the sox, the cubs definately aren't better than the hawks and same with the bears. The only sport that matters is hockey and the Hawks are always number 1
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII no no ... mostly no one gave a shit which is why after work 7 times out of ten me and my bud could get a 300 level seat and go sit on the glass. that was up until like 2 years ago ish
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII i know i went to my first game in 07 when they sucked and have been a fan ever since but now everyones a fan and "oh i was always a fan!" it's not fair to us.

@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII I agree. Even though the Hawks aren't doing as good, I still love the team. Besides, Rocky Wirtz is a freakin genius. With him running the team, the Hawks will be a strong brand for a very long time.
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII Oh just one thing to add. I'm also a Bears fan. If we could just get rid of the McCaskeys, too that would be great. I mean let's face it, most of the time, when a team rarely has winning seasons, it's thw owner's fault. You have to get great coaches and great scouts to find talent. If you can't do this or are too cheap to do that (like Bill Wirtz was, and the McCaskeys are) your time will suck most of the time.
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII It hasn't always been that order. The Hawks have a rich history and were at one point 60's-early 70's the hottest ticket in Chicago. Yes they had some lean years but Chicago is a great hockey city.
@IIIIIIBradfordIIIIII It's not that way really, people in Illinois knew who the Blackhawks were, they just weren't popular to watch because they would always lose. Look, I don't care WHO you are, don't give me this bullshit that you would watch and pay tickets to see your team lose. No one would, not even these Vancouver and Detroit fans here talking shit on this page about "fair-weather fans". The Blackhawks were HORRIBLE, and no one would waste their time or money to see them lose.
@fierofromhell1 Well... The Sharks are and then the Hawks as far as the West is concerned. Certainly the Hawks are not better than the Red Wings and will fall first round to Nashville due to all of the problems the Hawks fans overlooked all season. Maybe next year!
