But how do you do it on saxophone...

same concept... 'classical' players slide there fingers off... Me, personally, can achieve a more smoother gliss if I just bend my pitch and lift my fingers

No, it has different fingering. I play.

yeah its just like a tenor sax but an octave higher. It plays in the same range as clarinet but, at least in my opinion, doesn't really sound like one.

The arrangement is by Johan ven der Linden (soprano player). I believe the score is available from Bergez publishers.

Although I don´t like those Gershwin arrangements I must admit it is a very, very good performance - technically and musically and most of all the interaction between the four players!
