no, just...no. it wud be a great shame to see midway sell the franchise that was... is the only thing dat keeps the company breathing. but it might be a good idea should MK get bought by the right company. a company dat wud have the balls to make it a gory bloody, violent fun game dat makes 4 year olds cry. dats wat mortal kombat is. but of all people to sell it to, they shoud NOT sell it to bloody capcom. Honestly, I care less on Street fighter Legend of Chun-Li. I never watched it and never will. I rather rent it on DVD or buy the Live action SF movie for $10. Plus, I'll miss MK when Midway does plan to sell its franchise. Magus, The qquestion is which manufacturer will buy the MK Franchise.

I love MK, and I would hate to see the franchise die, but at the same time I'm also kind of worried about what will become of it, if it's bought by another company. Persona 3 is my favorite PS2 game, it is the only game that I have spent over 100 hours on. Definitely pick up persona 4 as well, it isn't as good as 3 but it is still incredible.

Halo Wars=Best RTS on the 360. Gotta love the way the PC snobs that look down upon it like it is watered down. Command and Conquer 3 on the PC is inferior to Halo Wars. Halo Wars is, by far, my favorite game currently this year. I'm sure Halo 3: ODST will take that spot, but hell it means something.

Well Midways whole cash flow came from Arcades, and Once that died, Midway was on thin ice, And MK shouldnt suffer for that, MK is their highest selling.

I think Midway selling MK would pretty much display their dedication to their fanbase. Basically saying, "hey, we might be inevitably going under, but we're humble enough to give away our biggest franchise in order for the fans to keep playing it." So that's pretty cool. Good video, man.

Persona 3 is alot of fun Magus. I was the same way when I got persona 3 little over a year ago. Still one of my favorite Ps2 games so far.

BTW, there is a new Shin Megami Tensei Devil Summoner 2 game coming out 5/12/2009 for the Ps2. You should check out the First Devil Summoner. I think you can pick it up new for 9.99 at Game Stop. It's worth a try.

Mortal Kombat is such a big part in gaming history, not just with Midway, that it would be really sad if the franchise were to die with its publisher. I think it would be a smart move for Midway to sell MK not just to save itselft, but to keep a legacy going beyond MK vs. DC.
