  • I was really dissapointed with the coverage from this world cup. why did they hardly show bowling speeds?

  • @MrStinkyWilson,

He is very talented. Whether or not he develops it remains to be seen. Its not easy being fast bowler these days with overly batting friendly conditions.

  • Pwned bwhahahahahaa...

  • Wow, people talking shit about Australian players? Uhm, do they even know who won the Champions Trophy 2009? I don't think so. Well, let me tell you guys, AUSTRALIA FUCKING WON! So shut the fuck up bitches!

  • what year was this match???

  • haha, just look at his face!!

  • that happens to me in village cricket all the time if a fast bowler comes on, but it seriously shouldnt happen at international level

  • First ball duck? Dude, you call that a golden duck.

  • I don't really think Watson was looking at the umpire. I think he was looking at Tim Paine, to say "What the HELL was that?"

  • Just a gentle loosener swinging in and crashing into off stump at 150 kph......

  • Damnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!!!now das beaten 4 pace!!!

  • fast forward to 1:45 ;)

  • expression of watson lol..

  • love watsons face whenever he gets out cheaply

  • lol i think any top hand batsmen couldnt handle that.. especially when u come in first u accept to leave one or on a length . thats a ball who a bowler bowls whos got his 5th wicket.. excellent deliveryyyyyyyyy

  • lol @ watson's expression at 1:54 putting his hand out like "wtf how did the stumps go flying?"

  • Watson -- whenever he gets out, his face shows if though the world has come to an abrupt ending. :|

  • One days are twice as good as T20's and that's not cause we win all one days and lose twenties.

  • Lol. .Watson was like "Mate I was'nr ready,c'mon"!! classic

  • jai ho roacch gud u were in deccan chargers team..fuck watson

  • Watson looks as if he is gesturing to the umpire to ask if they're playing the can't be out first ball rule

  • that ball puts the gold in golden duck

  • haah i cant stand Shane Watson...i can watch this over and over again. SAAAWEEEET

  • @highvoltagewwe15 lol the man. jokes fuck you

  • LOL right arm fast medium? who ever is deciding this bullshit is on drugs... hes right arm FUCKING FAST :P

  • @eurodude9999

The whole fast medium, medium fast is just BS. This guy is FAST. Nuff said.

  • @eurodude9999 lmao. so true

  • @eurodude9999 Agreed. So many genuine pacy bowlers I see they post as Fast-Medium. Have them face a ball and tell me if its Fast-MEDIUM?! Ask Watson!

  • @eurodude9999 yea 4 real, but i think dey determine, d type of bowler he is, based on how he previously bowled, where he might not have been bowling consistently 90+

  • Comment removed

  • top of off's the usual case, but bottom of off will do! ROFL!

  • What a delivery,Kemar Roach has the ability to be a great fast bowler,I am happy to have Gibbson as his coach,my only fear is the WICB,they always mess things up just when the team seems to be improving.Pack of jokers and egoist in charge of the Board at present.

  • wow a yorker on ball hehe nice

  • OH MY GOODNESS!!!

    What a pleasure this is!

See an aussie getting a Diamond Duck!

Great Roach! I like West Indies!

    Thx Powen001!

  • dickhead, one in a million and is called a golden duck, you clearly know heaps about cricket

  • @oopaulorafael golden duck bro

  • WOW what a delivery..

  • Sweeeeeet !

  • put dem stumps to lie downnnnnnn

  • This guy is made for Test Cricket as an Express bowler. With such short strides he generates such pace. Look at other fast bowlers- Bret lee, Shaun Tait, Shoib Akthar, Malinga, Dale Styne all have long run ups and so strugle to bowl long spells on the trot, but this guy may be able to go just that extra mile

  • who are you talking about?

  • fuck u all australian bowlers nd australians we got good bowler wait nd c his pace is nearlly 160km/ph

  • yeah Shaun Tait clocked 160.1 in the twenty twenty the other night against Pakistan that is the 2nd fastest ball of all time so maybe your boy is just not fast enough

  • @wallabie09 nope, its the 3rd fastest recorded. sure, the 2nd is Lee, but still

  • lol shaun tait cant bowl for more than two overs in a spell.

    so what if hes fast

  • thats bullshit you idiot he's played test cricket ya idiot and i've seen bowl more than 2 overs in a spell get your facets right next time before have to respond to some stupid comment

  • he injured his shoulder in 2007. he played in december 2007 for one match and went wicketless in his 21 overs giving away 92 runs at an economy of 4.3. hows that for facts? since then he hasnt played an international test you dumb shit.

"get your facets right next time before have to respond to some stupid comment "

Im sorry but you're statement makes no grammatical sense.

go away and check your facts, tool.

now days, the weak cunt cant bowl more than 2 overs in a spell due to his shoulder.

  • yes he hasn't played an international test since then due to the fact that he was physically exhausted as well as mentally exhausted he announced for an indefinate break and came back a year later he had surgury in that time and i did not say he had played test cricket since 2007 his come back to international cricket in that twenty 20 he got 3 for 12 player of the match and bowled the 3rd fastest ball of all time and is already being considered for 1 dayers and what comes after them haa?

  • he will never play another test match for australia.

why would you pick him when his shoulder prevents him from bowling long spells?

    it wouldnt make sense

  • hahaha watson. now we (deccan chargers) have him.

  • bravo kemar has became an bull...

waitng for him at deccan chargers

  • in the generations to come, kids will see watson's stats and wonder why their parents don't rate the dude at all. its cos this is a shameful time for cricket bowling. the opening pairs round the world are pretty much a joke, and we have 2 genuinely fast bowlers. batsmen are armed to their teeth and make a killing with their gargantuan bats.

thankfully, for this one innings, watson was shown what opening the batting is supposed to be like. he opens in Test matches for gods sake!

  • Wait till he comes up against Morkel and Steyn. But yeah, fuck all pace elsewhere...

  • Morkel isn't very fast. he's fast, but not 150+. steyn hopefully can get back to his best sooner than later.

  • Morkel's not as quick through the air but still sharp and he gets so much bounce it more than compensates. Both he and Steyn bowled superbly in the last two Tests vs England.

Raw pace isn't everything as bowlers like Asif, Khan and McGrath have shown. It can be a big help if you need something extra when the pitch is flat. On the whole though, If you can bowl accurately and get bounce and/or movement at 140kph you'll pick up Test wickets.

  • 2 genuinely fast bowlers? Roach, Malinga, Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson, Aamer pretty much the entire, english team can all bowl 150+ at their quickest. Your either another jealous non Australian or another dickhead Australian Armchair critic with no idea. The guys the best all rounder we've had since ritchie benaud. The worst thing about nobs like you is you have either never played the game or played D grade for your school and think that's real cricket.

  • you're counting brett lee? michael johnson? will they bowl to watson, genius?

malinga never touched 150 + consistently, and he's been in the higher 130s recently. aamer is quick, but he isn't 150+ quick. he's higher 140's, and has played just once against watson anyway. and he's just 17.

problem isn't who i am. problem is who u r. you're an Australian. there are a few groups of people, who are oblivious to all their defects. they amaze me with their ignorance, most of the time.

  • I'm ignorant, you're the dickhead who said no one can bowl quick when I mentioned about 10 people that can. Irrespective of injuries, etc, the following can regularly bowl 145+ at their quickest.

Harmison, Broad, Anderson, Onions, Johnson, Siddle, Ryan Harris, Bollinger, Roach, Fidel Edwards, Tait, Malinga, sharma, Aamer, Lee

145 is pretty sharp by the way. Anyone who reckons its not just because a couple of blokes have bowled 160 is just dumb.

  • The problem with you is you just like to bag blokes that are 100 times more successful then you to make yourself feel like a big man. You're the one who is ignorant and clearly doesn't know much about the bowling stocks going around the world right now. 10-12 years ago Alan Donald was the only bowler who could bowl 145+ and only just. Now about 15-20 guys can, including the entire Australian and English teams. Not to mention pace isn't everything Mcgrath, Walsh, Dev, Akram all bowled <145.

  • this is the last time i'm replying, cos you're an Australian, and u guys cannot see reason when it comes to fellow country men, how ever wrong your racist ass is. of course, you're not racist, Indians are being killed just for fun.

2nd, its not like i said ponting sucks. he's over the hill, sure, but i didn't diss him. watson is not an opener, never was.

irrespective of injuries. convenient. when was the last time your entire list played at the same time? not a single tournament. guess why.

  • also, its not about their quickest speeds, its about regularity.

Malinga isn't a regular in the team, much less a regular at 145. again, while we're debating an Australian batsman's ability to open the batting at the intl level, why are we talking about Aussie bowlers? remove them and u have harmison, not being selected, broad, not an opening bowler, roach got him in this video and hasn't played enough, edwards? does he still play? sharma, LOL. watch more cricket.

  • and to the last point. mcgrath, dev were once in a generation bowlers.

walsh and akram did bowl 145+ easy during their hey day.

  • walsh did not ... Akram nudged it from time to time, but walsh absolutely did not he bowled 135 like Mcgrath. I even recall commentators mentioning this fact, which is why he was able to play so much cricket. he played something like 10 seasons straight of county + internation cricket in a row without hardly being injured. You bagged the bowlers as a whole generation hence the Australian bowlers are relevant. And between Anderson, onions, broad and Harmi clearly some play regularly.

  • No one pushes 150+ consistently. It places too far a strain on the bowler's bodies. That's why you will often see blokes like Johnson, Siddle, Anderson operating around the early 140's in test matches most of the time, but they do vary speeds often. Trying to break the speed limit every ball is a recipe for injury.

  • @SumFallGrace r u an Australian? please man, i quit. i don't\can't argue with u guys, you don't see logic. all u see is your countrymen and that's that.

if you're not Australian, THIS IS A FUCKING ODI, STUPID! y r u talking about tests?

and most new ball bowlers open up to 150's in the first innings in tests anyway. and if you're NOT Australian, u agree that watson is under tested cos of the fast bowling stocks going around the world. everybody non-Australian knows that!

  • You people amaze me. Really, you do. I originally commented on your comment about bowlers being good because they can bowl fast, and you open up with a parade of racial abuse. People's nationality doesn't come into the equation, you ingrate. As for the cricket related matters, I can hardly tell what you're trying to say, your English is that bad. Something about Watson being 'under-tested'? Whatever that means.

  • @SumFallGrace go bore somebody else.

  • Am I boring the precious little racist?

    I do apologise.

  • @SumFallGrace precious little? no, i'm not Symonds.

  • Hahaha. Na, I agree with you there. Roy is a little precious. Thank god he's out of the side.

  • @SumFallGrace you should have told me you're an Australian, and we both would have saved time.

lol @ at Aussie calling somebody else racist.

  • Excuse me? I bet you are just saying that because of the assaults on Indian students recently? If so, I can assure you that those 'select few' are by far the minority, and are hated by the rest of us normal Australians.

  • well, its happening often enough for it to be a problem. its been what, 15 kids dead in 4 months?

  • No where near that mate. The media twist the stories so much. And of course, I'm not denying it is a problem. But you can't judge every Australian's racial indifferences on these events. I bet your country has had violent events fuelled by racism before, but I don't go around saying everone there is racist, that's just plain ignorant.

  • thing is, u can't. the country that was last reported to have made racist jokes in cricket was Australia, to Makhaya Ntini.

probably the only predominantly white country to not have ANY players of color, (of any color, black or brown) is Australia. even a small ass country like New Zealand has Jeetan Patel, but which single non-white player (save Symonds) has played for Australia, ever?

    what does that tell u?

  • If you are seriously suggesting the notion that Cricket Australia picks players for the international team based on their racial background, you need a serious reality check.

  • @SumFallGrace i am suggesting that Australia is a racist country at heart and that they only pick white people to play cricket.

  • Then frankly, all hope is lost for you. Wake up to yourself.

  • @SumFallGrace i could say the same thing to u. u couldn't name a single non-white cricketer, save Symonds, who was frankly given a fucking raw deal by the Aussie selectors, in the twilight of his career...

  • I can name many non-white cricketers, just not many Australians. All I can say is that there was an Aboriginal team who toured England around WW1, and racism certainly existed then. I am not some fan boy, but simply a fan of good cricket, and some of my favourite players are black. You're probably just jealous because your country doesn't have a cricket team.

  • @SumFallGrace what in the world would make u even think that a person belonging to a non cricketing nation would give a damn about shane watson, i don't know.

also, i didn't say u were a racist. we're talking about Australians, in general. and like u admitted, not a single non white player for Australia (except Symonds) ever.

  • That claim that all 'Australians in general' are racist is still ridiculous. And I'm sure that if you looked it up, there has been quite a few non white players that have played for Australia. Like I said before, Cricket is a European game, and generally Australians with European heritage take more interest in the sport than Aboriginal Australians. It has nothing to do with the colour of the players if they play or not, it's the talent.

  • Jason Gillespie is aborginal ... Dan christian played a t20 last night, he's aboriginal. 30% of afl players are aboriginal. A decent chunk of rugby players are of pacific islander decent. They are actually overrepresented in elite sports relative to their proportion of population. How many white people have played for India, pakistan, bangladesh or sri Lanka?

  • not talking about rugby. and if u keep quotas, all systems will be a go. but the reality on the ground might be quite different. one jason gillespie, and 1 dan christian. 100+ years of cricket. and not to mention, still no brown people or people of Indian\Pakistani\Sri Lankan origin.

white people haven't, cos white people that stay in those countries don't play cricket. they're there for other stuff. the minorities in those countries are based on caste, etc.

  • And for the same reasons Indian's will never play cricket for Australia. Of the 200,000 indians living in Australia most are uni students few of which will ever get Australian residency. Watch out over the next few years Khawaja is a pretty handy pakistani who plays for NSW.

  • @shamoni8,

Yeah racism is the main reason why several black players were not allowed to play for Australia. One of the fastest bowlers in history was a black native Australian. Eddie Gilbert. He lived during Don Bradmans time.

Even in recent years they have prevented Asian migrants living in Australia from getting into the national team.

But i do believe that eventually they will get into the national team. Australia is simply trying to delay and slow the process, but they cant block it forever

  • @shamoni8 everyone besides Cameron WHITE =]

  • @shamoni8,

Malinga was well over 150kph in domestic cricket. But he was bowling alot of loose deliveries. So they told him to slow his pace down and focus on accuracy. So yes, he has slowed down in international cricket. Very tough for him to control the ball with that action.

  • Ian Pont is a genius.

  • i think W.I. getting back their old ragging bulls!

  • wow... Kemar is going to play for us (Deccan Chargers)... looking forward to it...

  • hahah..watson

  • Watson to Umpire: "WTF? didn't u say that first ball is just a test ball? "

  • That was a good bowl!

  • watson is like....hey!! i was not ready... : )

  • Who won the trophy? :D

  • why did he put his hand up did he want to refer it fuck off watson you faggot

  • Great stuff, always good to see Watson get done whether batting or bowling. There's something about him that doesn't make him endearing, maybe its his little spoilt boy demeanour...the wonderkid that never was.

  • hes just a cunt bro.

    plain and simple.

its always nice when he bombs out

  • hahaha...Watson was like "wtf was that?!?" ...in an aussie accent lol

  • Kerron Pollard n Roach.. 2 new finds of the West Indies team... edwards n roach r a gud opening bowling attack..

if most WI team is injury free then they make a pretti formidable line up...

    Watch out!!

  • "wasn't that a trialer"....ahahah Chapell is hillarious

  • Watson: "huh?!"

  • I would love to see West Indies have real fast bowlers just like they had in the past.World cricket will become exciting then.

  • same

  • Roach is trying to do something about that ...

  • Christ that was fast.

  • ideal bowling team:

    edwards

    roach

    taylor

    benn

    bravo as all rounder.

  • once their fit windies have a pretty formidable bowling attack

i think we have to watch out

  • lolz

  • i saw it on tv and i was wondering some one should upload it on youtube and u did it.

    Watson's expression is priceless!

  • haha unreal

  • is he capable of 160 kph?

  • he is capable of 170 according to some reliable sources

  • LOL! That's the funniest cricket moment I have seen in ages!! HAHA!!

  • dissapointed edwards isn't coming to australia but his injury means roach is in the squad so it's not all bad.

  • the ideal plan was to have both Kemar and Fidel bowl as a hunting team. They already know each other quite well...but yes...Fidels injury sucks.

  • really good addition, if you include taylor and fidel edwards!!

  • His speeds are CRAZY fast!! From 90.1 mph to 95.7 mph.....WOW!

  • My team had a tour in Barbados last March, the island certainly has some fantastic youngsters coming through, we watched the young bowlers being coached at the police ground, all coming in off 22 yds like 100m sprinters. We did play against one lad who they expect big things from Yearwood who had genuine 95 mph pace, and very accurate with it.

  • its gona be hard for the selectors to choose between him, tonge and rampaul......beautiful to see the day the west indies have a good line up of fast bowlers to choose from...

  • Priceless!

  • He and Tonge are useful additions

  • Exciting days ahead for WI and world cricket. Roach also bowled the fastest ball of the tournament. Thanks Powen for sharing this eloquent video.

    That stump really bolted!

  • Beautiful.....
