Yes, it's true. We have stringent rules on what comes over to the islands. Dogs and cats have to be held for about 3 months before allowed to be sent home. No rabies. They are changing the rules. If you have certain shots done within a certain period of time, the animals are held for only a few weeks. But no snakes are indigent here, and they are not allowed here. They have found one or two that people have snuck in, but they are found dead. Thank goodness. I'm not a fan of snakes.

Great news about the photo being published. It must be gratifying to get the recognition. It shows you definitely have the 'eye'.

I have never seen a wild snake in the UK. We are supposed to have those little green grass snakes, but I haven't even seen one of them. Not that I'm bothered. I can live without them.

Why do snakes always look so angry? Is it because they are envious of everything with legs?
