The Devil's got hooves because he represents a goat. The Bible say's that God will separate the sheep from the goats (sheep representing those who love him and the goats for those who don't.) The Dev's not the biggest fan of God so...yeah, he's a goat.

@oddchick This show is clearly based entirely on the Old Testament ethos which had no Jesus and which also had God wiping loads of people out because of the misdeeds of some of them. The character Galactus in the Marvel universe is also based on the Old Testament God only.
