Yeah, the game no longer works with the iOS 4.0 and higher. That's why Glu has removed Glyder & Glyder 2 from the App store. Glu has said there will be an update but hasn't provided a date yet.

This is an amazing game, very relaxing, and I especially like the open world aspect. It took me about 3 hours to beat while trying every so often to do some challenges, and I also flew around each world for a while after I beat just because it looks so damn good, Highly recommended for a dollar, its worth way more.

hey nice review but can u help me im stuck. after i got to the mushroom crystals island but their is nothing to collect when it says 2 crystals left and 28 gold crystals left and the same with depth isands. help me

The remaining crystals are located on a satellite rotating high up in the sky! To get there, you've to take the thermals (repeatedly) generated by the fan/machine on the island. Once you collect the crystals there, you'll unlock the final world (it's underground) in the depth islands. Good luck!

Where are the thermals that take you 5km up? I'm going crazy trying to get up there; my second to last goal before completion. Are they by the Moon satellite?

The mushroom thermals take you only up to 3 km. From there, you'll have to execute a series of "dolphin" maneuvers, i.e. repeatedly dive and climb. First dive to reach a high speed and then pull up to gain height until the speed warning comes on. Watch the altimeter to keep track of how much height you're gaining. Repeat this until you hit the 5km ceiling. The whole process takes a while though. It took me about 20 min to go from 3 to 5 K. So, you have to be patient. Good luck.

I hate to keep using you as the walkthrough/FAQ for this game, but how about the Volcano Crater mission? The description is pretty vague: Fly into the crater of the volcano in Rift Valley. Does it mean the hole at the bottom of the lava-fall?

Ok, to get the Volcano Crater achievement, you don't have to actually fly into the crater of the volcano as the hint says. You just have to dive down to the base of the volcano from the purple platform marked "B" atop the volcano. Good luck!

Hi, I don't mind talking about this game at all.

1. I'm assuming you've already unlocked the underground chamber in one of the islands of Hidden depths. This underground chamber has two areas. The main area (with ocean floor) has most of the crystals. The remaining crystals are located in the interior chamber with lava sea floor. Look for a narrow opening in the wall about 1/3 way above the ocean floor.

2. I believe you have to collect all the pink crystals from the Rift Valley, Dark Pinnacle and Ambrosia to unlock the Hidden Kingdom.

@gr33n3y3ball3r on the mushroom isles you have to catch the thermals and go up to the sattelite, i did this by circling around in the thermals until i went out of them then gliding a bit out and re-entering and positiong myself then circling again. for the hidden depths you have to get all the pink and the the island next to the gold with no platform on will blow and you get two more rooms inside full of crystals, also contact me if you want any help with any achivements. hope this helps

I really really like it. The graphics are the best 3D graphics I've seen on the iPhone so far and the framerate is pretty smooth most of the time!

It's also pretty relaxing and for the price of 1.99 just a total steal!
