heres a tip for if your getting the game. always counter attack soldiers with any weapon pleased but disarm brutes as it is better to do so as it only really works like this

i think i know what he's doing, when Ezzio is on a ledge about to climb up Phil probably is pushing the control stick in the direction of the ledge he wants to climb up on and not pushing the control stick up. simple mistake but if he could figure it out it would make the world of difference

this game is all about platforming and free running. Have you even played this game and you suck just as much as phil does? Im not an Assassins Creed fanboy. i traded the game in when i got all the achievements, the controls in this game are perfectly fine. Phil just has no idea how. And if you watched phils other playthroughs you will see that he has a tendency to ALWAYS blame the game and its developers for mistakes HE MAKES.

gamespot reviewed this game and said the control is as great as last game. I know I had some troubles during the first game where Altair would randomly climb stuff near him when I didn't make him to....but seriously I think Phil is just too nervous so he mashed way too quick =S And yes this game has way too many glitches (like the one where Altair had sex with that woman)
