well..I don´t know what´s all the fuzz about this. You should go sometime to Mexico City..and try to get from the south (Ciudad Universitaria) to the North (where Insurgentes Ends) and you´ll see what the 7th level of hell is...this is only a walk in the park compared to that.

I love this!! It takes me right back there! The scariest thing that happened to us was when we were catching a lift and the driver took a wrong exit on the overpass, so she stopped on the slip road and started reversing back up it towards the main road where the traffic was doing 60-70 MPH!

And notice how many cars don't bother with headlights!

Yeah, they once tried implementing car insurance in Cairo. Needless to say the pioneer companies went bankrupt. Its not uncommon for cars to have mutliple fender benders.

The only traffic rule in Cairo is "GO." I was there, trust me, it's this bad everywhere. Even crowds of people will cross the street willy nilly, there's no organzied concept of pedestrian crossing there. Did you notice the horse? Yep, cars and trucks and horses and mules, all in the maze.

if my contless years of cairo driving experience doesnt fail me, this was probably shot off 6th of october, right next to hilton ramses. This whould be where the lane under the bridge merges with...well, the lane on its right.
