I fucking KNEW the dark side had rhythm!

  • I even saw Darth Vader lol.

  • Evidently, when “that anger meets that panic” the establishment sends in there goon and the protesters tuck tail, fold up shop and run.

  • this is beautiful but that golden showers sign was just silly

  • Welcome to Oakland.

  • Yo I'm excited tyt coming to current tv soon

  • 6.24 Even Vader is now standing with the rebellion. Oakland, may the force be with you.

  • wait how was shutting down the bank helping? It's an honest question not a sarcastic one. Are the banks the 1%? I thought they just distributed money >.>

  • don't forget the most important bank to protest... the Federal Reserve!

  • off topic, but that black guy was soo cute

  • Idiots...

"Lets shut down the Port of our city so we lose THOUSANDS of Jobs!"

I swear these Mother Mothers need a reality check, and a basic economics lesson...

  • This is really not good. If you stop the banks they cannot give out loans which help others build business. Idk this shit is too crazy and I think some people here are just here to create a scene when there actually good.

  • When people together have enough collective positive energy, watch out.

  • @MasterREB When you see positive energy from these thieves, let me know. "gimmmeee, gimmmeee".

  • WE DA NAYETY NAYNEE PERCENT MANGG!

  • This is one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. My generation, several generations, once again standing up for what is right.

    A few givens:

There are opportunists/anarchists among the Occuppiers who do not have peaceful intentions.

There are antagonists planted in these protests by the establishment.

The establishment is VERY nervous and scrambling.

The establishment is actively engaging in draining money out of the world economy.

The police, our brothers, will soon join us.

  • @70sgitbox You stand for nothing. You fight for rights of non productive to get same as the productive. The police fight for their right to get a full retirement at 50, when the taxpayer works until 67. The taxpayer funds his own retirement, and pays for the police to be retired as well. The taxpayer pays all, or a good share of his healthCare, and pays for the healthcare of the police as well. Soon, all taxpayers will unite against the leeches. Its not rich and poor, its producers and leeches

  • LMFAO @ 1% Golden Parachute 99% Golden Showers! Priceless!

  • just read a newspaper account of Canadian Occupy protesters' demands which include Government nationalizing banks (I assume they want Gov to plunder bank deposits to pay for social programs), interest rates be set at 1%, 2 police forces-one to prove guilt another to prove innocense, all non-violent prisoners released, (meaning guys like Madoff would be free to carry on with fraud), adoption of "Bolivia Earth Rights" etc.

I think it's time we bring in tanks to get rid of these mindless creeps

  • @genie0390

"..... time we bring in tanks to get rid of these mindless creeps"

In the spirit of true fascism I presume?

Madoff was a "priority" because he made the mistake of ripping off the "real people who count".

The Rich. I'm aware of charities that lost money when he went down. Madoff going to jail was a proverbial fuck you to a man who ripped off the rich. Not to mention the rich people who KNEW he was a crook, as long as he was THEIR crook.

    Basically, go fuck yourself.

  • @drbayoms

so what are saying? the occupy morons should just be able to carry on indefinately?? no matter how stupid their demands are we should tolerate their shit?? I don't think so!

"Madoff was a "priority" because he made the mistake of ripping off the "real people who count"."

he couldn't rip off people without money because Ponzi schemes are all about MONEY, you dumb dipshit

you go fuck yourself, stop interferring with rights of others not involved

  • @genie0390

"stop interferring with rights of others not involved"

You uneducated fascist pussy. The only way any protester would be interfering with YOUR personal life. Is if they blocked the convenience store your mother sent you to in order to pick up tampons. You have no relevance, to anything. You are simply a Youtube pussy who gets a little wet over a bunch of Wall St dicks.

1.)Politely ask the guy in front of the store to move.

2.)Purchase tampons with mom's debit card.

    Pretty simply.

  • @drbayoms Thank you OWS people. Obama was elected by the swing voters in the middle, not the left wing looneys. The right wing looneys wont elected the next Republican either. Both extremes are dependable to vote for Party. These filthy wackos are turning off the middle of the road voters, and are going to get Obama fired. Again, thanks!

  • These drug addicts want civil war. They don't know the rednecks are getting pissed off about the whole thing and they have the guns. I'm sure they are watching frustrated as nothing is being seriously done to get rid of these hippie scumbags.

  • @jmwwd

You are hilarious. Keep up the good work.

I love when Google or one of it's sponsors hire people to make up dummy accounts so they can come on Youtube and "stir the pot" (more viewers means more exposure).

The use of "commie", "hippie" and "redneck" gave you away.

    Great Job!

  • The irony is that this commie movement gets anywhere, this sandnigger would lose his stupid youtube business and will have to go work in construction. Amazing how the communist radicals, the wolves from the 60s are taking advantage of these brainless young hippies and sidewalk defecators. They are paying them to protest and create chaos.

  • @3star2nr yes i have, but the problem is most havent so this whole bongo drum thing looks stupid to the entire world sorry but its true. their actions make it hard to defend them

  • makes me sad that i'm living in La Crosse, WI....we had an occupy La Crosse and the turnout was pretty low...

  • One riot already happened. Not sure who started it, maybe it was a group, maybe it was the police themselves. Something. But people are getting more and more frustrated. And sooner or later there's going to be a real, big riot. And then all hell breaks loose. Because it looks like the banks and politicians won't be caving in until it's too late.

  • are u guys gonna talk about UNESCO or what? or the fact that the Libya has Al qaeda flags flying in benghazi

  • I gotta feeling purpose of martial law will be used in coming months. I really hope not even though this is peaceful protests. You just never know.

On the other hand, this is f-ing awesome!

  • This is beautiful.

  • @DarkStar1O9 that was beautiful?? you can keep waving your placards while fox news mocks you and the government ignores you, you wont change anything, the only change that will ever come is through violence, thats the truth, sooner or later everyone will see that its the only way, people are no different now than they were during the french revolution, we are violent animals, and youll be abused, mocked, stepped on and ridiculed until you get a baseball bat and go crack some banker skulls!

  • Do the people at 5:00 look frightened to anyone else?

  • what's the song at 1:54 ?

  • .......grrrrrrrrrrrr.....

    protest music >_>

this makes me wanna get down there so i can start playing some megaman or something......

  • >banks go under

    >bail them out with 700 billion dollars

Fuck big banks, put your money in credit unions.

  • LOL 1% golden parachute 99% golden showers...hilariously true. 'trickle down' economics is only in the form of a stream of piss from on high.

  • Since the world is awake now, lets join the revolutionary guards corps israel will attack iran soon.

  • WHAT PROPAGANDA. "The protesters stood between the anarchists and the windows and stopped the violence."

    .

FALSE. Anyone with a Youtube acccount knows that isn't true, because we can see the videos. The anarchists smashed thousands of windows, spray-painted on walls, and drove some poor persons into bankruptcy (because their coffee shops or bookstores were destroyed)

    .

These Young Turks guys are not giving us the truth

    .

  • @electrictroy2010 /watch?v=86XhCwHhwn8 Please watch this video

You can clearly see a group of about 30 or so anarchists (dressed in all black) smashing things breaking windows and spray painting. Now look at the rest of the people yelling at them to stop some forcibly so and being beat down by the thugs in black. Those people are the protesters, those people came out to make their voices heard, the 30 or so thugs in black are not Occupyers.

  • @Myth1322 so you saying that it just a joke? NO!!! Washington is a joke and YOU ARE A JOKE!!!! thumbs up that bitches!!!!!!!! GO WATCH FOX WITH THE REST OF THE MORONS!!!!!

  • @electrictroy2010 your misinterpreting what cenk was saying, he meant that in the case that he had on camera(where you see them doing that) the real protesters blocked them out, he didint mean that all anarchists everywhere were stopped.

  • @electrictroy2010 Did you even watch the video? There was a scene where bank managers and such were taking pictures of protesters, but some of the protesters were standing there, facing away from the bank and towards the crowd, in order to stop the anarchists.

Anarchists are dicks who are doing nothing more than giving the establishment they hate so much fuel to take down the anti-establishment movement. That's the irony of being an anarchist.

  • Apparently, corporations are people and are entitled to many rights & protections as us.

So that wouldnt that make people corporations and entitle everyone to free bailouts and lawlessness and special tax breaks and etc.

Its funny how you can say Corporations=People, but you cant say People=Corporations.

  • @ImJustKindaHere Clearly, people can incorporate. People are indistinguishable from their businesses. If you ever had a business, even mowing lawns for neighbors, the $5 you got paid was thought of in your mind as your income, not your businesss`. If you have a private doctor, dentist, atty, who works in a small office, the only professional there, most likely he IS a corporation. Corporations= people, and people = corporations.

  • I thought america was already dead. Now that i watch this... I dont know

  • Feels like I'm watching history. But am I really? I certainly hope so

  • Everyone in the usa should protest snd occupy thr banks

  • FUCK WALL STREET AND WELFARE CEOS THAT THINK THEY ARE ENTITLED TO OUR MONEY AND OUR CHILDRENS LIVES FUCK THEM

  • if this occupy movement fails, America last days of an empire and my advice get the fuck out

  • Was this video taken before or after the group broke storefront windows, started several fires, spray painted walls, and threw rocks and bottles at the police?

  • OMG. Darth Vader at 6:33.

  • 6:22 Even the Dark Side supports the cause! Nothing can stop us now!

  • the people you are after are the people you depend on. We cook your meals, we haul your trash, we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances. We guard you while you sleep, 99%

  • you know its funny..in the dark..its easier to see.

  • . watch and see people this is going to be a war. this is the prelude. most americans are not use to seeing this kind of thing and and arent able to realize what is happening.neither side is backing down. that has shown over again to lead to war. it is also long overdue in america.many of us know that.for every person next to me that points to a protester and says they are crazy,i feel so bad for them, for i know it is he that is crazy.

  • 3:17 well someone's about to get fired when their employer see that.

  • I contacted a local OWS group here in Palm Beach County, and plan to tend a meeting tomorrow.

I just got done interacting with the NY group’s web site forum, and chatting with a local member on face book. I found absolute chaos and absurdity. At both chats I inquired about a platform and Ideas, and was referred to a guy who believes aliens are manipulating earth through the illuminati, and complete gibberish from the New Yorkers.

Are there any sane people involved?

  • I drove through a park in Buffalo, NY and it was packed with protesters. Keep the faith.

  • There's something about that place, from the brief clip shown here, that has a 1990s vibe to it - a liberal vibe. I study poli sci and my (heavily conservative) lecturer said that the 90s was a liberal decade - peace, prosperity, religious tolerance, economic growth, low unemployment etc (all the things conservatives hate). I literally saw that 90s vibe in this.

  • Mass general strikes are the best way to get the government's attention, and that of the corporations. As soon as everyone refuses to work, the money stops flowing, and then the 1% will realize the party is over, and it's time to pay the band.

  • If all of you naysayers think these are just a bunch of unhappy, lazy hippies, you need to get your head out of the sand. This is about our political system and how it has been bought by the highest bidder, Wall Street, the Banks and the Corporations. It is about fairness, fairness in taxation, fairness in competition, fairness in wages and our political system.

Now if you want to continue to bash this movement, consider yourself as doing the bidding of Wall Street, the Banks and the Corps.

  • @rocky19421 i very rarely bother to vote up comments but you nailed it

  • @rocky19421 well said!!

  • @rocky19421 Amen to that!

  • @Cutchswife Problem is they're balless….

  • @rocky19421 I encourage you to continue. Polls have turned against you. Sure, the left wing base likes this very much, and you can all go home, roll a joint and congratulate yourselves. But Obama was elected by the swing voters, the independents in the middle. The wacky left, and the wacky right always line up with their parties. BUT, it is the "normal", every day working people who will choose the next President. And they SEE what you are. You nailed it, "a bunch of unhappy, lazy hippies"

  • @rocky19421

In a country where it's perfectly legal for Congress to insider trade, there is a serious conflict of interest. Congress doesn't even need a crystal ball to foresee the future, the relationship between government and business is symbiotic, they make the future and profit from their actions.

  • @rocky19421 You commie wouldn't recognize a T-bone unless I shove your head far up a butcher's ass. This OWS movement is composed of tire burning and stoned hippies. You are nothing by a bunch of lazy ass Welfare recipients and commies trying to bring down capitalism. It's not the banks, corporations or Wall Street's fault you fucking commie. It's Obama's fault! You get no support from the public because you are not camped out on 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., asswipe! We'll defeat you commies!

  • sorry but this will not change anything... in a few weeks or less the "99%" will be back at work again ,, and the 1% will not even have noticed.. they have 100's of millions or billions.. all in the country could stop working and it would still not change anything..

  • @Johansen1000 tell that to the people in Egypt, who overthrew their corrupt government, and the people who just overthrew Quaddafi, the richest man in the world and a 40+ year dictator with complete control until the public stood up to him. Tell that to the Americans who fought the first revolution against the British in the 1700's. Tell that to the people in India who rose up against the British in peaceful protest and threw them out of power.

  • @1955RodHot don't know if you know this, but we a not in the 1700's.. and you do not live in a 3 world countrie with a dictator.. but do tell me what will be achieved with this Occupations..??

  • @Johansen1000 just wikipedia it

    stop playing dumb

  • @Johansen1000 It is to stop the flow of capital at least for a day attracting as much attention possible and making politicians pay attention peoples grievances. Honestly, to me it seems like a shot in the dark given how fucking corrupt and full of bullshit "our" political system has become.

It is true that the 1% does not need Govt. With that said, Can you name any other way the we(99%) can make politicians work the 99% and not the 1%? To me this is the only method left... STRIKE!!!!

  • @Johansen1000 if you are too dumb to understand that throughout the history of mankind, starting thousands of years ago until this very moment, hundreds of popular uprisings against the powerful have been successful, then I feel sorry for you. Go back to school and get an education, particularly in the subject of history, it will help you to understand things like this.

  • @1955RodHot yes that is all fine, but lats see 5 years from now.. i'll bet you its still the same fake ass politicians taking the same money from big oil, wall street, and so on.. wart is it 40 years now the rich and powerful have been able to buy politicians.. how well you change it and how can you change it.. i don't think you can... the government is to corrupt... you can try to overthrow the government GL..

  • @Johansen1000 "how can you change it"??? Refer to my earlier comments, idiot. It's been done before, many times, in many countries, by many people, including in the United States, not once but fucking twice, if you understand the Civil War was a revolution against the established system, too. It's happening in other parts of the world as we discuss this, so it DOES work. What part of that can't you understand? How can you be that fucking stupid? Wake the fuck up.

  • @Johansen1000 That's right this isn't the 1700's it's now and for the 99% this country is quickly becoming third world .Look around you this country is in decay ! Maybe your in the 1% and just don't care ! What will this achieve ? It will send a message. We are mad as hell and we're not going to take it anymore!

  • HELL YEAH DEATH TO CAPITALISM!

    Viva la Cooperative Revolution!

  • Comment removed

  • @rocky19421 Maybe instead of asking the boss man for fair wages the workers should form their own business, together, and democratically manage their own work place like they're doing in Europe. Modragon in Spain proves how well that can work, 10k worker owners, 24$ Billion a year, top of the line research and high quality goods, and best part is, everyone wins

  • I wish we could get this much of a turn out for the occupy movement here in Omaha. There's just not much of a liberal crowd here.

  • good work showing an unbiased view of Oakland ..

  • Obama's little brother @ 6:30

  • @TheGolden321 those people are total idiots!

  • ''They might get Malcolm X before they get Martin Luther King''. Great quote Cenk!

  • 6:27 DARTH VADER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Now maybe the Occupy Wall Street Movement will be making some REAL progress. Hit the 1% where their money resides and grows with BigBanks, the 1% themselves and their bought-and-paid-for slaves - Republicans - in collusion. Challenge the money in THEIR wallets in contrast to the Republicans who PROTECT their wallets and they'll notice fast, and I mean fast! Better yet, lets arrest and prosecute the 1% thieving thugs and this also will make the economic playing field more level for us the 99%.

  • The thing I like to see is that the workers for the banks seem to be silently cheering them on. You see them taking pictures and not looking mad at all. They're the 99%, too, and they know it.

  • they're clearly not peaceful, they got darth vader with them

  • I pray for peaceful Occupy Oakland, it has to be peaceful to make a point.

  • this was an nice birthday present

  • same thing is happening down in london. people are waking up against the system

  • This Occupy movement is truly an EPIC FAIL! The Tea Party PWNS this movement in every single way! The Tea Party and the Palinista Army will CRUSH and DESTROY this Occupy movement!

  • @ecwaufisxtreme sure sure

  • @ecwaufisxtreme you prob just commented to see how much haters youd get but ur also getting buttfucked and there giving out no reach arounds

  • @ecwaufisxtreme Obvious troll is obvious.

  • This is very inspirational, I thought the title was going to mean the banks shut down the protest (because I read it wrong) but this = WIN

  • @futurestoryteller

WRONG! This is an EPIC FAIL! The Occupy Mvt is GOING DOWN!

  • @ecwaufisxtreme. Your life is an epic fail which isn't a surprise since you work for Michele Bachmann and Sarah Plain and their lives are epic fails too.

  • Ahahaha...5:52, the old hitch up the pants maneuver. "Watch out Occupiers, my pants are back up around my waste!"

  • Wheres Jimmy Hoffa when you need him lol

  • You can certainly be forgiven for saying the movement doesn't have a message. I still don't have a clue what it is. End capitalism? No more bailouts? Tax the 1% more? Prevent a certain level of political donations? Stop the 1% from working? End corporate personhood? Increase banking regulations?

I see signs saying all of these!

  • @TMOvids A minimal amount of research would answer your question in seconds. You should try it some time.

  • @ItsMeDauntless LOL guess you don't know either then. Wikipedia's opening paragraph gives seven different things being protested, and I've seen even more minor things being covered on signs.

  • @TMOvids Must a protest be limited to one thing being protested? The main thing being protested is the influence of Wall Street and Corporate money on politics, influencing our policies, putting people out of work while the top 1% makes record breaking profits, etc.

Senseless wars are also being protested.

Political corruption is also being protested.

Job outsourcing and tax breaks for millionaires and billionaires are also being protested.

Why? BECAUSE THESE ARE THE THINGS HURTING AMERICA!!

  • @ItsMeDauntless My post was that the movement doesn't have a unified message, you seem to have accepted that but take it to be unified by "things that are hurting america." I'm not sure. Racism, christian fundamentalism, and the drug war all hurt america, but these aren't being protested. You say the main thing is corporate influence on politics, but how's this fit the 99% line which is about wealth inequality? Forgive me for thinking the protest is just "be more left wing" or "we're angry"

  • @TMOvids You're either a media puppet or willfully ignorant.

The corporate influence is the main cause for the income inequality. Oil industry funds politician campaign. Politician gets elected. Oil company does this with multiple politicians. Oil industry recieves GROSSLY unneeded subsidies. Education gets cut. Jobs are lost. Kids go uneducated. The rich can afford to keep their kids in school, the less well-off have more issues.

    See where this is going?

  • @ItsMeDauntless not really. You seem to be taking one point being made by the movement and merely asserting that that is the main point, without any reason to do so. The occupy wall street demands group included in its list of basic demands tax hikes and infrastructure investment. This is related to campaign finance reform how exactly? You seem to also be claiming that wealth equality follows naturally from CFR. Then why even include it as a demand?

  • @TMOvids As I said before, who says that a protest has to only be about one thing?

Also, at what point did I ever say that CFR alone would create income equality?

  • @ItsMeDauntless not just America but the world

  • @ItsMeDauntless. TMOvids is an asshole teen living in his parents' basement and only talks tough because he has their protectiion. In the TYT videos about the Texas judge who beat his teen daughter, TMOvids said she desreved it and called her names like bitch, slut and spoiled which proves he's never had a woman in his life.

  • @cne08 Ugh, typical conservatroll. Shoulda figured.

  • @ItsMeDauntless Outsourcing is normal. Capital flows where the return is higher. Simple. You can complain about it, bitch and moan if you want. Burn the country down. But still, capital flows to where thew return is higher. You see, CEO`s dont go sleep in your yards, picket your homes, burn your cars. They just meet with the officers, and plan on leaving for greener pastures. Now, I ask you..... How do you get them to stay? By making their costs higher, or lower?

  • @luvcheney1 You assume that they do it because they need to save money. What you don't understand is that they are making record breaking profits and still outsourcing jobs. They'll do anything to save a buck. Lowering their costs will not make them hire here, so we may as well tax the fuck out of them and invest money into things that will actually create jobs, i.e. education, infrastructure, etc.

Also, it's even worse when congress shoots down a bill to end tax breaks for job outsourcers

  • @ItsMeDauntless You make many assertions, without evidence. 1) record breaking profits? in terms of what? nominal #s, or what? 2) "tax the fuck out of them"? Where does the $ a corp pays in taxes come from? 3) Spending creates jobs? Where does the money to spend come from? 4) Tax break for outsourcers? Which part would you like to discuss? Foreign tax credit, or "deferral" of taxes? Pick a number, any number, and deal with ONE point at a time. These are all YOUR choices..

  • @luvcheney1 I'm honestly not going to sit here and explain every single one of these to you. A minimal amount of research could easily answer all of your questions. You either know the answers and are pretending to be obtuse, or you're obnoxiously obtuse.

  • @ItsMeDauntless Oh no, I dont want you to explain them, I understand them all. The problem here is that you have not thought through any of them. All your assertions are wrong. Actually, silly and juvenile. For example, spending to create jobs. There are 3 ways govt can spend 1) tax 2) borrow 3) print. Make a case that any one of these possibilities can be done without causing a negative consequence, offsetting the "positive" consequences of the "new" spending.

  • @luvcheney1 (2/2) It's about shining a light on the subject. These problems we face today (poverty, starvation, unemployment, etc) are not natural. They're from too many greedy people. Economy is man-made & it CAN be repaired by man, because its a system that we made up.

OWS is there to tell Americans to wake up and understand that NONE of the political parties have our best interests in mind due to corporate interest. It's there to remind Americans that they get away with it thanks to apathy.

  • @GrowTheTruth In other words, actually pinning down a LIB to a policy discussion is not fair? Let me take 1 point you make. Unemployment is NOT natural. I agree. It is a surplus of labor. Do we have surpluses of oranges for years on end? Cars? Eventually, businesses slow down production of things in surplus, in a free market. Labor is NOT free. Govt, through welfare system, unemployment, pays people not to work, taking them OUT of labor market, not allowing surplus to make labor affordable.

  • @luvcheney1 (3/3) Furthermore, employers aren't encouraged to hire more due to high corporate taxes & increased wages (to compensate for the increasing cost of living).

It is said that the first step to recovery is admitting that there's a problem. Americans need to admit to themselves that there's a problem & that their politicians are not actively seeking to fix them. Pointing out the problems & admitting that they exist needs to happen before an active policy debate can be effective.

  • @luvcheney1 (2/3) Two options: increase the demand for doctors by encouraging employers to hire OR decrease the supply of doctors by encouraging individuals to train for a different field that has more demand.

The current system has education as a business. Therefore, people are always encouraged to become doctors & such. Many aren't told that there may not be demand for them upon graduation. Many go into debt over student loans that they can not pay off & are forced to take minimum wage jobs.

  • @luvcheney1 (1/3) Surpluses of products (and labour) occur due to supply and demand conflict. If there is a surplus of oranges, then its because the demand for oranges did not equal the supply that was produced.

So, when people can't find work, it's also supply and demand. The demand for doctors won't equal the supply of doctors coming out of medical school.

  • @GrowTheTruth Price moves up or down, to bring balance to supply, demand. Higher prices for labor reduce demand for it, as demand will just go to cheaper markets, in other states, or nations. Lower labor costs increase demand for it, because products previously not competitive because of labor now become so. When there are too many oranges, prices fall to clear out the surplus. Fed govt policy is to pay workers to stay home, the market cant clear of surplus. This is simple, for 1000`s of yrs.

  • @luvcheney1 I understand what you're saying, but surplus of products is going to be different than surplus of unemployed.

You can't lower the wages of people to generate more jobs. If you do that, you'll have to lower the cost of living first. All it means is 1 person is going to take up 2-3 jobs with lower wages just to make the same amount as their 1 job with a higher wage.

I don't feel it addresses the problems.

  • @GrowTheTruth Labor has in effect been removed from responding to the free market. Welfare, food stamps, unemployment compensation cause those not working to be able to stay out of lower wage jobs, because working for $300 doesnt make sense when Govt will just give you $300. This is the reason for illegal immigration of course. Low paying jobs exist. but we prefer to pay Americans to stay home, and employ illegals. Taxing the working to pay those who choose not to work makes sense?

  • @luvcheney1 Labor has been SCREWED by the free market at a time where corperations are making record breaking profits and are saying that you SHOULD work at a low paying job? THEN YOU WORK LONG HOURS FOR LITTLE PAY!!!!! give up your job i'm sure god will look after his sheep.Rich people benifit from immigration the who has maids and need their lawn worked on MOSTLY THE RICH AND UPPER MIDDLECLASS!!!! not joe plummer that's for sure. Then blame them when they shipp jobs overseas DUMBASS!!

  • @mdsaxc02 How do you define record breaking profit? You may not be aware, but profit goes up and down during business cycles. Todays profit levels, as a percent of GDP are high, but 3 years ago were in the toilet. Todays "high" rate is the same as the 1947-1950 rates. Today, Corps are not investing, and this will not allow more profit growth. Profits will decline again soon. Business expansions have avg life spans, and this "expansion" will be over in 1 or 2. Unemployment will rise higher.

  • @luvcheney1 you should make a profit at the expense of the nation wall street's greed cause the whole country to suffer.Do you think a healthcare monopoies should decide if you live or die so a ceo can get a bonus? If it was YOUR ass or loved one you would disagree. We in a more stable enconomy that fluxurates up and down with in REASON but doesn't crash and te most vunerable in society suffers the most a chirstian nation indeed! NOT!!!!

  • @mdsaxc02 A monopoly means ONE. We have choices on insurance. Obama said the Bush cuts on the rich cost $700 billion over 10 yrs. Remember? Divide $700 bill by 10, thats only $70 bill a year! Deficit is $1500 billion! This is not a serious proposal. Wall Street makes more money when things are good, not when things are bad. Wall Street Greed is a diversion by Govt to avoid Govt`s responsibility in the crash. Do you really believe Wall Street wasnt greedy before?? You are being used.

  • @luvcheney1 there are few healthcare companies so they work TOGETHER.They make sure they seel insurance at the same price for instance airliners have diffrent price but they are in the same price RANGE.If one charges more they ALL do.You're right republicans and conservative dems allowed regulations to allow the banks to be too big to fail so they get a bailout yes there fake dems in washington that try to padder to your crazy ideas I make no excuses for them.

  • @mdsaxc02 Perhaps you ought to study a health Insurance corporation income statement. All public corporations ( with stockholders) publish income statements, and you can get them instantly. The profit margin of United Health, the large health insurance corporation in the US makes 4% profit on revenue. That means, that if you spend $400 a month on insurance, they earned $16 selling it to you. Insurance is expensive because medical care is expensive. Insurance co`s earn small %`s of profit.

  • @luvcheney1 besides you make it seem as if there massive openings at the local grocery store or resturants but that they just too lazy to go. Bullshit in the black america unempolyment is TWICE as high than whites. It's cain 999 plan that would raise yor taxes when most rich people don't pay ANY taxes. If you care about low paying jobs so much go work at macdonalds!!!!!!!!! It shows your total lack of compassion for your fellow man.

  • @mdsaxc02 The top 50% pay 97% of all income taxes. The bottom 50% pay just 3%. You need to get off your lazy ass and start paying taxes. I worked in restaurants managing them for 30 yrs. Damn right Americans are too lazy to work there. Now, I had back trouble, cant manage any longer,, but I used to sell cars years ago, and it took me 3 days to find a job. Why? Car salesmen work some evenings, and every other weekend. Americans are tooooooooo fucking lazy to do that.

  • @luvcheney1 The top 50% pay 97% of the taxes, because of the 49% under the very top 1%, who pay nothing. The 49 under the very top 1 of the top 50, are just as much a part of the exploited 99% as the rest of us.

  • @DavidWeber1965 The very top 1% pay 36.73% of all income taxes ( google "SOI Tax Stats - individuals") (an IRS website accounting of results), choose Individual inc tax returns with positive gross income classified by tax percentile). scroll down. Note top 5% pays 58.66%, etc. The idea the top 1% pay nothing is an absurd political lie. You can see the truth, from the govt itself. If you need assistance, please ask.

  • @luvcheney1 If you didn't support a military idustral complex a bloated cia and didn't support dumb wars like iraqi, and if RICH PEOPLE PAID THEIR TAXES we won't be in this mess.

  • @luvcheney1 You say that they "choose" not to work, but a lot of those individuals can't find work or are disabled. Low paying jobs don't pay the rent, either. =_=

I'm also not talking about taxing the working. I'm not talking about any particular solution. I'm discussing the problems with you.

Considering your name is "luvcheney1", you're probably going to greatly disagree with me on a solution.

  • @GrowTheTruth Truly disabled is different matter. But being disabled is very abused. In fact, right after this financial crisis, the amount of people claiming disability shot way, way higher. Why? All of a sudden everybody got hurt? No, people choose to claim it, as it pays better. When I say taxing the productive, I dont mean just laborers, I mean corporations and business as well. I see the nation as the productive class (labor and business), against the looters ( Govt and those it pays $ to)

  • @luvcheney1 I agree. Being disabled is very abused, however having a black & white mentality does not allow for a very proactive discussion about this. If you want to see this as a battle of Americans vs. the lazy, then you have a lot more people to consider than just those on welfare.

How about we focus on the lazy and power-addicted who are stealing millions from the tax payers first? They're doing a whole lot more damage to America than the welfare. THEN we can focus on the welfare program.

  • @GrowTheTruth That is an empty comment. Note you dont even address my point, people are living off the govt, on $295 a week, and you are fine with that, when they can find work at $295 a week. Again, maybe you prefer another subject, which is fine by me, but you just say smack, without a fact or point, and leave the subject behind. You shoot, I respond, you run. Pick any point you like, then stay and debate it a few posts. I tire of Libs running.

  • @luvcheney1 (2/2) The original topic, let me remind you was about the purpose of OWS. I told you that its purpose was to shine a light on these issues. If you want to turn it into a welfare issue, then fine. But that's not part of the issue that OWS is addressing.

We're more concerned about the elite who are leeching off the system. There are bigger fish to fry, my dear, than Americans taking $295 p/week. How about those taking millions?

  • @GrowTheTruth Who is exactly is a person who is taking millions that is/ has pissed you off then? Again, you are so very, very vague. You arent making a point. WHO?

  • @luvcheney1 Well, you only asked me who now. So, how can you be irritated over my vagueness? LOL!

    The CEOs and chairmen of:

    Goldmann-Sachs

    JP Morgan

    Monsanto

    and more...

Nearly every member of congress and the President. It's a rigged game, sweetie! You honestly think people with lots of money play fair? LOL!

  • @GrowTheTruth Blankfien, Part 1)CEO of Goldman, in 2010 $2 million salary, $3.6 million bonus, stock options of $12.6 milllion. Stock options are in effect gifts from owners a portion of the corporation, and it dilutes the number of shares, costing shareholders ( owners) and doesnt come from customers at all. What comes from revenue of the corp is the $5.6 million. Goldman has $39.2 billion in revenue, so his wage was .00014 of revenue. If they made $100 off you, his wages are 1.4cents. Big?

  • @luvcheney1 LMAO!!!!! Oh, Lord, you're ignorant. =_= Please, for the love of God, tell me that you don't honestly believe that.

Lloyd Blankfein is currently in deep water involving a housing market scandal brought upon by Goldmann-Sachs.

That's just the earnings he makes that are public to you. He's got LOADS more than just his wage. xD AHAHAHAH!!

  • @GrowTheTruth There you are. More empty assertions. Goldman is a public corp. 65% of stockholders are institutions!! Blankfien is a fucking employee. You think large institutional investors have no interest in what he makes, or gets? Largest owner, Capital World Inv, State Street Global, Vangard Grp, Blackrock Instit Inv, T Rowe Price, JP Morgan. You think they`re stupid, dont care? I am ignorant? You`re smarter than them? Than ME? Owners want MONEY. They pay labor only what is necessary.

  • @luvcheney1 No. I think you're naive. I doubt I could explain this to you better than Jack Abramoff (a professional lobbyist for many major corporations).

    /watch?v=xe1d32I_wUY

This man was convicted for mail fraud and conspiracy. He's already come out explaining how big business lobbying works.

Are you so naive that you think that the people in power are going to play fair? They're people with power who will manipulate people and officials to keep that power.

  • @GrowTheTruth Note you have dropped your previous line of thought, rich CEO`s have some negative effect on the economy by their large salaries, and huge financial corps that OWN Goldman just allow the CEO to take all THEIR profit he wants? With a dose of logic, you run to another assertion, lobbying. This is simple. Govt regulates and controls businesses, and how, when, why they work. Business wouldnt lobby at all, UNLESS the fucking Govt is involved in business in the 1st place.

  • @luvcheney1 If you want to continue defending the corporate, white collar criminals, then you can. However, you are on the losing team and you're wasting your time.

In the end, they'll be imprisoned.

  • @GrowTheTruth Maybe you are right, but the issue is you. You cant even explain what the supposed crime is.

  • @luvcheney1 Health care companies make profits MASSIVE PROFITS!!! They don't do it for the goodness of thier heart rather to make money. if they did why fight the public option remember they don't make money so why fight it?That's make no sense so back to the drawing board for you.
