Got rid of the sega in 2001. I had a SNES but hardly used it, so i bought batman forever for $1 and i started playin it. It was fucking 20 times worse than the one on Sega. Its harder. The musik is horrible on this game. The controls r impossible. the story sucks this is by far one of the worst games i have ever played

I thought Revenge of the Joker was actually kinda fun. I first played it on NES though, and I do think it's a lot better on there. Yeah, Batman's out of character a bit, but it really didn't matter much back then. Batman Forever wasn't my taste, but some of my friends liked it, and it drew a few chuckles on late nights, like Moonwalker did.
If they're really curious, I think people should go ahead and give these games a shot, see what they think. There are much worse games to be playing.

There actually is a way to get down from that spot you were stuck in on Forever, it's extremely complicated but my friend and I usually play the ol' genesis alot and we play this game a few times... If I come across how to do it again I'll tell you. But as a warning the characters later on become incredibly hard and it takes the "fun" out of the game

I think it tried to build on the Batman game for the NES, but it looks like what may have sounded good on paper, was awful in delivery.
I also liked the original Batman game. It was a fun game, and warranted replay.

for one thing... the Genesis version of Batman Forever is way better (looks better, plays better, and feels better) for another thing, YOU WERE NOT TRAPPED! I've played through that entire game dozens of times, you just have to be smart enough to hold down the kick button and press down (ITS THAT SIMPLE!) and for another thing, that game has a whole arsenal of special moves you can do, you just have to be smart enough to figure them out!

There actually is a way to get down from that spot you were stuck in on Forever, it's extremely complicated but my friend and I usually play the ol' genesis alot and we play this game a few times... If I come across how to do it again I'll tell you. But as a warning the characters later on become incredibly hard and it takes the "fun" out of the game

I wasn't trying to copy AVGN and if you think I was I apologize, but like most reviewers and LPers on Youtube, of course some are going to be similar to others. People draw inspiration and influence from others they have seen or look up to. If it seemed like I was trying to copy James Rolfe it was completely coincidental- all I did was speak candidly about the game unlike Rolfe who has a small production team and writes his reviews in advance, I go mostly off the cuff.
