Don't know where that segment is going.... There is a link on IRS website if you want to give money to them if you "feel" you don't pay "enough".... If you make over 2mil a year then you are getting out of the small business expenses range (if one isn't planning on expanding) then you can start up some debate over taxes but as it stands most morons here don't know that 1/4mil and 2mil isn't rich for small businesses in a year...if might just be enough to pay everyone and maintain the levels.

As a businessman, why not set up manufacturing plants (factories) here in America and CREATE JOBS for the American people. Make "Made in America" possible again in our store shelves.

The Eurpean Union gives %2 plus on all money donated to such charities. This enables them to meet all running costs, thus enabling all the money initially donated to go directly to people in need.

@bulmer13: If the average income for the lower 50% of employable individuals was sufficient to cover the cost of living, raising a family & saving toward education & a better future, this wouldn't be an issue. Placing further taxation beyond sales tax etc. on those who are currently struggling just to get by (the lower 50%) becomes a penalty for being born into less than optimal circumstances. Let's face it, we're not all created equal when it comes to survival skills in this world.

I have a lot of respect for Bill Gates. I don't know if you all realize this: He's a major philanthropist. He gave 1 million to each of his kids. No more. Their job is to make their own fortune, not squander it. If hey can't survive on a million dollars, then they don't deserve any more.

The rest of his fortune, upon his death, isn't going into inheritance. It's going into charity. All those billions of dollars into hands that really need it.

raise capital gains to 28% for earnings over 200k, raise top marginal to 38, eliminate other loopholes and cut military spending (cold war was much bigger threat than asymmetrical terrorism anyways).

no need to cut social programs or tax the larger population...
