  • I saw this boat sticking out of the dock about 10 feet at lake of the ozark but never got to see it run it was right outside my cabin thing we where staying at it was a sweet boat

  • @coinkeeper99 I stay at grand glaze... everytime he comes in people stop and stare... boat is beautiful, owner is a nice guy, 1400 hp per engine... Its bad ass, a 30 ft boat slip seeing the boat backed in and 15 foot is still sticking out... insane

  • nice boat but ZERO cockpit rum for the family.

  • Actually, The center front bolster is removable and therefore makes the cockpit not much different than most other boats like this. Its a smaller cockpit from front to back, not by much. When I looked at it in Pompano Beach FL, The center bolster was actually missing (Might have had it in the office or something) I believe the current owner built a cabin down below with the basics. All padded, all custom cushions etc. I have not seen it though in a few years.

  • The Best Running "A" boat I´ve seen....

    Just perfect.

  • i see this boat all the time at the lake of the ozarks

  • Thats the best looking apache that I've seen. Congrats to the owner!

  • (thats tough for me to say since im a DIE HARD apache fan and I even OWN a 41 Apache myself) This boat is rigged better, has better lay up features, has more custom attention to detail and one off machined parts and pieces that no one has ever seen on a real 41 apache. The weight of this boat is drastically less than any 41 apache thus making it a shining star!!! While it will never have the following and heratige of being a drug smuggling boat or all the Ben Kramer, (continued)

  • , Bob Saccenti, Froberg, Eikert, McMannus interactions, for it being such an amazing performer and such excellent attention to detail, it will be one to be rekoned with for years to come wherever it goes. I for one like the owners of the Saber 41s would allow it to be part of the 41 Apache family and embrace whoever owns it (even though I would still have my jealous feelings and give them the middle finger salute) and be honored to run along side of this rig at any time anywhere. (continued)

  • I hope that puts a lot of the rumors and gossip to bed with this boat. Feel free to reply to this and put up more information if you know more about it because in the Apache family, its all about facts and who did what to what boat and who got in trouble for doing something to a particular boat and what boat was updated what it originally looked like etc. (continued)............

  • This is a legend offshore powerboat built and rigged by Steve Yadvish of North Coast Yachts in Seattle Washington. This is one of two boats that Steve hand crafted from the original 41 War Path mold leased from Apache and you can to this day custom order one and have one built if you so choose to do so. Apache powerboats would NOT let North Coast Yachts use ANY of their deck molds thus leaving North Coast Yachts to create their own deck mold to close in the top of this awesome rig.

  • This boat as most of us original Apache 41 War Path owners know, is a full knock off from the original 41 War Path hull. The rumors going around about this particular boat we need to put to bed right now. First the hull of this boat was NOT narrowed but on all original 41 Apache hulls there was a flare where the rub rail mounts to the hull, This boat does NOT have a rub rail so that in turn makes the boat 3 ¾ inches narrower than the original apaches are.

  • Typical Apache 41 war path hulls are 89 inches in the rear at the transom, this Legend is 85 ¼ inches wide at the transom. The HULL WAS NEVER NARROWED as once originally thought. This legend offshore has been rigged with things that no one else in the industry has ever done with the attention to detail thats second to none.

  • What impressed me the most were the stainless steel hard lines that were used and custom bent from all of the hydraulic pumps all the way back to the transom for the drives and 380S K planes with no rubber or braided lines. Custom machined cushion clamps to hold these stainless steel hard lines were impressive as well as all the wiring being aircraft tolerances with zip ties and neatly loomed and supported.

  • . This boat was originally rigged with Mercury Racing 1000 HP engines (bowtie blocks) and #6 wet sump drives on full race extension boxes.

6 man bolsters with the center bolster able to be removed for access to the bare fiberglass cabin was a great idea and feature. However it was a shame to see that whoever the company that was contracted to redo the interior upholstery took some sort of Jigsaw or Saws-all to the rear bulkhead on the front side and cut out a good (Continued)

  • amount of the balsa core to rework the seating and never cleaned up their cuts and never re-glassed that area and leaving balsa core out and open to the elements, its only a short amount of time until Rot sets in and starts producing cancer to the inner structure of the bulkhead area.

A lot of us from Offshore Only and Speedwake have seen this boat at the Aqua Toy Store or years in their yard and tried to work a deal with them on it. The sales people at the Aqua Toy Store were (continued)

  • were rather tough to work with because they did not want to give this boat away because they knew what they had and we all wanted it for a reason, it was beautiful and rigged so well and we all knew this would be one FUN boat to own and drive. The paint job was a good solid mid grade paint job with WHITE LIGHTNING airbrushed down the side and looked really good. Its unknown who painted it as for it was never signed by any particular artist. (continued)

  • The boat was finally purchased roughly 2 years ago by someone (whos name for privacy reasons will be left out of this write up) and it now resides at LOTO. A lot of us were rather jealous when we learned it was finally sold and I like others wish the new owner many years of happiness with it and at the same time give you the middle finger salute out of jealousy because you got the boat we all wanted!!! (Here is to you as I hold up my middle finger!! LOL) (continued)

  • It has since been mentioned on OSO that the engines were bumped up in power a little bit and as this video depicts, the hull and lay out of the boat it can easily handle it with no problems.

    Overview:

This boat while its a knock off or one off or fake apache, has all the best of the apache characteristics and since its a full Kevlar lay up with full carbon fiber reinforcement in structural areas has a huge following and is a piece of art work over most of the original apaches. (continued)
