That's encouraging. I dropped my N80 and the flex cable was damaged. The potential perils of any slider phone, apparently. Aside from that, the N80 has been perfect, but I need more RAM, larger screen, solid piece & a Zeiss.

This phone is a really good choice if sbody want an N95, but dont want to pay a lot. The N82 has a better Flash light, makes better pictures, has AF light, and the GPS is much better than N95 has. I think it's a best buy phone, my N82 is coming in the next month ;)

I bought it a few days ago and I think the display is great. You can adjust the brightness in the settings if you think it's too dark so that shouldn't be a problem.

Not quite as elegant as the iPhone is it. I assume Nokia wanted to do this since the iPhone came up with the idea but they waited for some thirdy party to make it so it looked less like they were copying the idea and they could just say they did it cos customers wanted it.

just software wouldn't know when you turn the phone. And they wouldn't put motion sensor in it, if it wouldn't be of any use, so, yes it should works by default
