TKD looks awesome but has very little street application when it comes down to a real fight. Throw you on the ground, or close the distance and TKD is done for. You only learn about five punches compared to a million kicks in TKD, so eliminate their mobility and what does a TKD have in a fight?

@turkeyninja which is why I study Gung-fu. get inside of the rang of a kick and learn to devistate with strikes and grapples. Kicking is easy. any monkey can knock your head off wiht a well placed kick. In-fighting takes skill and practice.

You got Kyokushin fighters that do well, Muay Thai guys of course...but TKD? Nah.

No if I'm talking street I'm talking not TKD ,kyokushin or muay thai or MMA( Actually did all ).If you're on the street you need stuff that works, but learning that kind of MA is not always nice and you can't find trainers for that in on every corner. When I get in a fight nasty things happen so I prefer not to. More than just a K.O...but TKD well it's fun alright.
