@kyle23011 For those of you who can't play, you have to download and install the client first, then run it. When the window appears, press the "Start" button on the lower right hand corner. Also, you must make an account at the Twowar Blitz webpage. After you've created the account and verified it, type in your username and password into the window, and wait for it to connect to the Rommel server. Then, having entered your username/password, press Enter or the "Game Start" button.

I have one OnBoard video card, and i have navyfield too, and run fine for me too.

If u can play the NF, probaly the Blitz1941 will works too, you can change the resolution, textures graphics, etc.

It works but when itry to change it so i can read teh font it lags and freezes.

So try to change the resolution to 1024*768, change graphic mode to 16 bit and perfomance to low quaility graphic.

actually, the US had the T4, M3 LEE, M4A1 sherman, M4A3E8 sherman firefly, M18 hellcat M26 Pershing, M7 Priest, M10 Wolverine, M-36 Slugger, M41 Walker Bulldog, M46-M47 Patton and M48 Patton II

Although the Patton series didn't really get in WWII, same thing with the pershing and the bulldog but yes you are right. However there aren't enough tanks that they didn't use for the Sovets to use in the game. The sherman was really the only tank the US used other then the M3 in early stages of the war in Africa. The other tanks were used few and far between.

Really, what was your in game name. Mine was wolfen117. I remember a few members such as Hazard, Lkeller. I remember in Danzig when we always used that hide skill and snuck behind enemy lines and took the airport. We fought the damn nazis back and forth, usually we didnt get reinforcements, so we couldnt hold the airport long, but once we took the factorys by the airport, we were able to hold it for the rest of the day.

This was so much more fun then NF. And I've been playing NF for 3 years. I remember when the NF community killed Blitz1941's international beta servers the week they went up because of the 300 SD patch and everyone migrating. That was great.

i am favourate in using SPG at the game , the long range is very good , but it is very weak and unable to destroy the heavy armored foe at the medium age...

it's sad that the server is closed.... this game didn't need to concentrate in gain exp. to level up , but you can also enjoy the play...

I missed this game too. It's the only MMO where I could join a battle and have a measurable effect against players 10, 20, or 30 levels above me! Sure I was doing 1/4th the damage they were, and had probably 1/4th the hitpoints, but that's still worlds better than any other MMO out there.

I used to play the Global version and also the Korean version for a while.

Looks like the Korean Version is closing down too, in what I assume in in favor of "Blitz II".

No idea if Blitz II is going to allow non-Korean access or not.
