Beating someone ONE time online doesn't count for anything. When the pressure is on and there's NO LAG in a local game, that'a a real win. When DGV is on, his Ryu is god tier. Japan doesn't have better ryus. Maybe more consistent.
DGV has an awesome Ryu no doubt about it. However there are better,smarter Ryu players out there, especially in Japan. As far as GGPO goes, Jodim has been observed owning many top notch Boxers and Ryu's with mid-tier chars like Guile. On GGPO & console, Afrolegends is a superior player and has defeated DGV on several occasions.
Yeah, I have played against DGV on PS3 online and he totally destroyed me and others in the fighting room! He is the best Ryu player on PS3 network that I have come across.
i would love to see dgv now vs t013g13 the best guile on xbl... now he has a great and well respected guile plus he's a cool person played with him alot but now he only plays rpgs now -____-

@StingerDC playing players who are difficult is what it is all about dude. I remember on hd remix some dude was a crazy player with zangief I would always loose but still challenge him all the time . Some dude entered the room who claims to be a great player , when he saw the zangief dude he just left and said I aint playign him
Also.. jodim has also being recognize as one of the best on ggpo .. now he's one of the best on xbox live ... he also played in touranments and didn't choke up like some people ... haha vs better players also.. come on dude .. it's not nutswinging it's giving props where props is dude .... dgv is very good but vs casual players s not tournament players.. .basically what did your great dgv do at evo this year or last year nothing hahahahha

Some guy online told me that dgv didn't enter because his stick kept moving around and he couldn't find something to properly station it on. I've played him several times, he's very good.

Zangief is not mid tier, he is low tier at best. In ST, he is arguably bottom tier. And yea your right on Haru Tejyo, he is the most feared player on XBL.
