if your going to buy this gun then i recommend the one from action hobbies, although sometimes the delivery is a bit slow i would still recommend. and also if you buy the £180 version from action hobbies you get a 3-9x40 scope a decent sturdy metal bipod, a sling and ring mounts for the scope.

@liltom99 Yeah, man up when I have a bloody blister on my finger from the sharp plastic...Also, I only reused a few bb's that I fired at some soft pillows inside the house, never the ones I used outside. Anyway, this rifle served me well and is now long gone.

I have one and you can unscrew the end of the barrel and put like a silencer or something but I don't put anything there because it makes no difference i know this because my mate who also has one was playing with his and did it.

You should check out the gas version of this rifle, I reckon it's called the Well G96. More powerful, better quality materials, and the magazine is placed in the correct position. Very heavy and realistic. £170. :)

NEVER REUSE BBS no matter how goo quality they are, they can shatter inside your gun. you might save a fraction of a cent on bbs but you will wreck a $200 gun. nice review btw and im probably getting one of these for my birthday.

hey man ive been having issues with my well l96. when i put my mag in, it obviously fits in, but when i push the lever to get it out, only part of the front half of the mag raises up about a centimeter or so, and then i have to pry it out, and i have no idea why this happens.

any tips or help?

Oh, and Ypu can unscrew the tip, You just need to heat up the barrel under it to melt the glue, then it screws right off.

Do you have to hold any type of licence to own this gun?

Not to own it, but to purchase it you have to either be a member of an airsoft club or be VCRA compliant. (again, that is done by attending a club) The other option is to buy it in 2 Tone which means at least 50% of the gun is sprayed in a bright colour. Anyone over 18 can buy 2 Tones. I just got my tm vsr10 I could not believe how accurate it was I can hit a plastic ball in the centre every time about a hundred feet away I heard they can shoot a a4 piece of paper from 400 feet away but I don't know if that is true or not I hope it is I think it could I think you should get it more than this because I have seen both of them and the vsr 10 is way better there is only two things I don't like about it that is it is only 310 fps .20g and u can catch the safety when you pull the b

@gelbot1 Cool, I'm glad you like your VSR10, it is an excellent airsoft rifle, with tons of upgrade potential. In regards to hitting a piece of A4 paper at 400 feet, I can tell you now for a fact that that is NOT true.

You can check out TheMarineSGT's videos. He has the longest achieved shot with an airsoft rifle on Youtube. He manages to hit a target with a VSR10 at 400 feet, BUT the target was big, he spent over £1000 on upgrades and his rifle is over 700fps.

@PSPmaster321 I would agree that a VSR10 is better than a Well L96 when the fps is upgraded! There's really no doubt about that...I mean, this is Tokyo Marui we're talking about! At stock fps however, it just doesn't seem to have the power to reach out as far. I have the Bar10 and am quite happy with it too, but I don't like how easily the hop up can be knocked out of place.

Well, I guess the definition of "accuracy" varies from person to person...but I did this firing test, so that you could see for yourself whether the grouping was satisfactory. I'd say that it's definitely a great gun for the price and is capable of hitting people out to 180 feet, and with some luck, about 200.

when your pulling the bolt back you dont want to push the bolt downwhen its back. a little pin will fall out and when you push the bolt forward you won't be able to push it back down

Huh, what? I'm not sure what you're reffering to here. I've solved the problem with the bolt handle not going down, it was just a small pin getting stuck, yeah, so I just took it out and it works fine now.

I use Blaster Pro .28 Stealth Green bb's. They seem to be a good balance of fps and accuracy.

.36 might be a bit heavy if it's shooting at 400-450. It's hard to say about the .25's really. It depends what gun it was.

Some very powerful guns shoot very badly with .25's and vice versa.
