What Daniel is pointing out is that good deeds alone won't get us to heaven, but faith in God, that through Jesus Christ our sins have been forgiven, will be the factor that gets us to Heaven. Now having faith, continue to do good works, not to get to Heaven, but to please and honor God.

The world is not evidence for the existence of god. You don't start with a conclusion like "The universe was made by god because the bible tells me so," and then go looking for evidence to support your conclusion. You look at the evidence first and THEN come to a conclusion.

You believe someone made that chain because you know what substance that made it, you also know that chains do exists and you have seen prior ones, you also know that manufacturers make chains.

The chain you hold was made in a factory. You can GO to the factory and SEE how they are made and WHO makes them. This is a lame argument for creation. Also, regarding the sins, why are all of the animals being punished too? Did Christ die for their sins?

Non christians never listen really. They say they do but they don't. i know. i used to be one. Just believe in the Bible, and make sure comments need to be approved before they're shown to the public. Its necessarry really, or the negative responses will never stop coming. A 1000 debates and replies can never convince anyone. But just one moment with God, and a lifetime is changed.

"Calvinism" is a theological term and it does emphasis Biblical truths.
*T - total depravity of man (dead in sins)
*U - unconditional election (GOD chooses whom HE wants)
*L - limited atonement (only GOD's people are saved)
*I - irresistible grace (when GOD calls HIS people, they answer)
*P - perseverance of saints (once saved, kept saved)

The world is not evidence for the existence of god. You don't start with a conclusion like "The universe was made by god because the bible tells me so," and then go looking for evidence to support your conclusion. You look at the evidence first and THEN come to a conclusion.

@muterabbit And the conclusion is that God, Jehovah, created all existence. My favorite argument to that fact is this: The Eyeball. Explain to me how such a seemingly simple part of your body could come to be on it's own. It looks so simple but if you think fully about how it works; how it interacts with the brain; how it is made up; then you begin to fully realize how incredible it is and that it could not have happened solely through evolution. Don't fire back right away, just think about it.

It's not a conclusion that's obvious to me as you might have guessed and it's certainly not a conclusion that's obvious to anyone belonging to a non-Abrahamic religion. The video not only points out some flaws in the human eye, but also mentions that there are animals with better-working eyes than ours. If we we really are Jehovah's special creations, the ones he loves most of all, don't you think he would've given us the best eyes on Earth?

@TexasTrucker210 As far as things in nature appearing to be designed, that observation unfortunately is not evidence for Jehovah creating the universe. First of all, the appearance of design by itself doesn't explicitly name Jehovah as the designer. What about Brahma, the Hindu god of creation, or any of the countless other gods of creation that humans have written about over the centuries?

@TexasTrucker210 The other thing is that humans are pattern-seekers. It's why we see animals and other familiar shapes of all sorts in the clouds. It's why our ancestors played "connect-the-dots" with the stars in the night sky and gave us constellations. It's why people can see Jesus or the virgin Mary in everyday objects like grilled cheese sandwiches. We are designers, therefore it comes as no surprise that we would project the idea of design on to nature.

Disease and such is only a result of the destruction of humanity.
For instance, God says no sexual promiscuity or homosexuality.
As we disobey, diseases and death result.
He didn't tell us these things to be mean.
He told us these things because He knows how He made us.

If you can not me show any sin that the child committs then the child does not need 'a qualified person to pay for them',because the child has lived a perfect sinless life just like jesus.

This all seems to be bible bashing nonsense, just leave the bible out and you got nothing to say. All your belief in "god" stands and falls with the belief in whether a god has written the book or people in the bronze age have written the book. We do not know that, because the only evidence for god as an author of the book is stated in the book itself and should be therefore disregarde, because we need other kind of evidence.
That's why i am agnostic, nobody can tell who wrote the book...

I really like that because it sums up everything for me: I have engauged in apologetics, debated ateists and fought to help people see that there is a God and that there is hope. But, ultimately, the JUST must LIVE by FAITH. Meaning: I don't need to fight, argue, or try to prove anything to anyone. I must simply LIVE by FAITH, then allowing the truly wonderful works of God to be evident in me as a testament to His Majesty, Grace, Compassion and Love for mankind.

And, the american indians were given the 10 Commandments because if you go back far enough in their genealogies, you'll find Moses, as well as Noah and Adam.
If you want an example of how people deviate from the True God, just read the book of Judges.
You'll see how the Hebrew nation kept turning to pagan beliefs.
Even with God being directly involved in their history, they still kept making stupid choices & turning away.
It's a good thing God didn't give up on them, eh?
